Got one on Thursday. Updated to Android 13 the next day. You can choose to expand memory from storage. Very nice tablet.

Does this have multi-user profiles, eg can different people log in and have different apps installed? Cheers! I've looked all over the internet but can't see anything confirming this one way or another. (edited)

Is this better than the M10 plus?

The OPPO is the higher quality product with a unibody metal build.

Any recommendations for a 6GB RAM tablet to future proof for kids?
    Chz's avatar
No such thing as futureproof electronics. That being said, 4GB in a tablet is equivalent to 6GB on a phone because there are all sorts of radio, communications and GPS services that don't need to run. 6GB is absolutely fine on a phone right now, and will be for some years. Anything you need to run on a cheap tablet that needs 6GB will be limited by the CPU/GPU anyhow. What I mean is that anything needing 6GB right now will run so slowly on a sub-£200 tablet that you'll wish you hadn't bothered.

I would absolutely expect 6GB in a more expensive device though. It all depends on what your budget is. But 6GB on a low-end slab is a waste.

Really good deal for a budget tablet that still does more than most people need it for.

In other markets this has been superceeded by the Oppo Pad Neo, it's a shame they don't see fit to bring the updated model to UK shores

OPPO have apparently resolved their Patent issues with Nokia and are now on their way back to European market. So expect a new tablet at some point this year, but for nowhere near this price. (edited)

Ooo between this and the Honor X9 Pad for best budget tablet in my opinion. Reckon the X9 Pad has slightly better cpu (on paper) and screen refresh rate. Otherwise this is a bargain too! (edited)
    Leonh's avatar
Yeah ide say x9 has the edge

I purchased one of those cheap tablets ages ago and it fall around 30cm to the ground which resulted in a broken screen. Our iPads have fallen quite often due to the kids handling it quite rough but we never had a broken screen….maybe luck or quality not sure.
