This stunning 55-inch LG TV looks incredible and has all sorts of amazing tech to make your living room feel more like a cinema. It doesn’t get much better than the 4KOLED display, filling the screen with rich colours and lifelike details, and Dolby Vision IQ does all the hard work of getting the best picture settings for you. Whether it’s the processor making each frame look gorgeous, or the AI Sound Pro tech that adjusts the volume so you hear everything perfectly, you get an amazing experience with zero effort. It’s even got built-in voice control – no need to search for the remote to change channels. Feet up.

We want you to fully enjoy your new TV, so please be careful when unpacking it – pull it out of the box using the edges so that you don’t damage the screen. If you need to return your TV for any reason, we just ask that you don’t pack the plug in front of the screen as it could damage the TV in transit.

Google Shopping says, here4010139_1.jpgNot much out there as far as English reviews on Youtube, but this German reviewer TecTracks HD (from August) takes a look at the CS range
(you can Auto-Translate to English on Desktop):

The reviewer's synopsis says, (via Google Translate)
With the intermediate model "CS", LG has brought an OLED TV onto the market, which is intended to further close the gap between the middle class and the upper class.
The CS is located between the LG B2 and C2 and relies on the classic design of the LG C1 from 2021. But it offers significantly more than the B2 in terms of technology.
Is the CS a price/performance tip and will it put the LG B2 out of the running? You can find out all this and much more in this video!

Good price right now. But this close to BF/World Cup, I'd wait.

CS = Essentially a C1 with the Alpha 9 Gen 5 SoC from the 2022 OLEDs (C1 was Gen 4). All C1/CS/C2 panels manufactured in at least the last six months will be WBE ("Evo") Panels, but only the G1/C2/G2 are software-unlocked to take advantage of the brighter capabilities of the panel.

In theory it should improve on the C1 by more accurately tracking near-black gamma (i.e. less black crush out of the box compared to an uncalibrated C1), slightly improved image processing/upscaling and the OS will be snappier, apps will load faster etc. For gamers, you'll almost certainly lose the 120hz BFI mode that was available on C1s.

I'd imagine you'll be able to get a C2 for £999 around BF. At that point, a C1/CS would really need to be £799 to be worth the saving, imo. (edited)

You got a source on the CS being Evo panel? One of the reviews posted in the last CS deal mentioned that it's got a non-Evo panel.

Wouldn't be surprised if you see C2s at this price.

1 year warranty...not that it covers burn in, but I'd still prefer 5 years personally.

    I agree. Great price nonetheless...

This is last year's 2021 model brought in especially for black Friday special c1 revamped

Bargain! (Possibly) I'd wait for a review personally

    Works on C2 as well

    Buy a C2

Should've just called this the B2 or something.

Not heard of this model - how does it compare to the A2/C2/G2
    Kojo_Segu's avatar
Doubt it even compares to a C1

10.5% cash back using TCB on all LG OLED’s.

65 inch C2 works out at £1539 after 10% discount code and then 10% TCB. Tempting.
    THIS IS NOT THE CASE

Will it go down even more around the World Cup start date and Black Friday? :/

Shame it only comes with 1 year warranty

    EDIT:

If you enter a discount code when checking out, but also try using TCB, you will only receive 1.05% cash back. Looks like AO prevent you from getting further discounts. (edited)
    jjames87's avatar
Probably not? If you look at last years Black Friday the C1 65" didn't even get that low from a quick search. Could it be different this year? It could be with competition from Samsungs OLED etc, but I suspect any discount not to be massively different to your figure. £100-200 at most.

    Shame I want a 77 inch c2
