To think it was about £200 a couple months back at JL (on sale). Wouldn’t mind a £60 off £250 about now 👌

First Lego purchase in a long while! Cantina is at the top of my daughters Christmas list (and happy to have it myself anyway!) Cheers

Major heat. Looks like the star destroyer is going out in style.

Sold out at LEGO, retiring, best price it’s ever been. This won’t last long. Very hot

Everything you said is false lol

Its still available on LEGO website and it’s been cheaper before, a lot cheaper. This is however the best price atm

First time I've ever bought Lego just with the intention of selling post set retirement. Had some JL vouchers lying around, made sense to get it at this price.

I really wanted to get this but the reviews about how flimsy it is and how bits constantly fall off is putting me off. With regret, I’m gonna show restraint and pass on this one

Awesome thanks. These have been selling for over 600 on ebay in last couple of weeks. A winner when retires

Curious, Not a Lego owner / collector. People saying 'Retiring' on these sets, after 'retiring' do these become sought after / collectable and increase in value?
    stavros1970's avatar
Yep. Can be a great investment

    Ordered:

LEGO Star Wars 75252 Imperial Star Destroyer - £438.18 after using the 5% off code sitting in the 'My Rewards' section of my JL account. Thanks!

It can sit in the attic next to the LEGO® Star Wars Millennium Falcon Collector Series Set 75192 I got a couple of years ago for £520. Ta!

Hope a mouse eats through the boxes

Will this be the best price to get the cantina?

I think so since the RRP increased, maybe if we're lucky they may drop it to 33% again that is me hoping someone miscalculates the saving lol. Other than that it's normally 15-20% off RRP
    Fifa__packs011's avatar
So £231 we may get it down to , would it maybe be 30% of on Lego.com on Black Friday as well
  18. rubberyduck's avatar
That was hard to justify to myself, going to have to dig deep to explain it to the wife!

Good Price, but of no interest to me, so not voting either way. But.... what do adults see in these? I really am bamboozled by the existence of a market for these toys / collectors items / dust magnets. Then again, I was bamboozled by the Beanie Babies, Tamagotchie, Furrbie, FingerSpinner, etc crazes, and look how that aged...
    Catttelll's avatar
The big difference between the 'crazes' you mention is the IP's also lego is fun to build and can have unlimited possibilities with the kit you get. Just fun ennit.
  20. jco83's avatar
Oh dear I do hope Lego can manage to survive, the prices they charge their profit margin must be so low, bless them poor dears
  21. markoUK's avatar
Never known a set on offer as much as this one.
  22. sonicdeathmonkey's avatar
Just noticed it came back in stock. Only problem is how i smuggle it into the house.....
    Dolphin01's avatar
Arrange to get it from a pick up point. Check dimensions of box. Find bigger plain box to put it into. Wrap up well. Store in garage / attic etc. Transfer to zip bags when ready to build. So I have heard, allegedly....from a friend

Thing is I want the lighthouse....this is more a play set.... Ohh decisions....
