Rumcajs_9So that offer may as well be over by the time I get some confirmation from them? And it seems its not £100 guaranteed but it depends on the old phone condition and may be as well £20? (edited)- nagarjuna993You dont have to wait till your phone to be sent back, I just placed the trade in and got a gift card immediately for the initial estimate and the £100 promotion applied to the basket, you just have to send the back the your trade in by the given date.
And as for the gift card value I think any difference in after the device is appraised will be deducted from your card.

After I'd done that I immediately bought the pixel 6a and it applied £100+2.38 discount when I went through to checkout. So ended up at under £200, which is a bargain. Seems too good to be true, but worked for me! No need to wait for them to appraise the trade-in it seems.

jbarnettI just submitted a trade in request and it immediately applied the discount to my basket. So it looks like the terms and conditions are a bit misleading and you don't need to wait for your phone to be appraised.
zootI applied for trade-in and got email which says trade-in boost after receiving phone and appraising!

but it states

joeyjoejoe206struggling to make this work - tried on multiple devices to trade in a mate 20 pro. I get offered £45 trade in, but when i go through to checkout, only the £45 discount is applied - no £100 bonus. This might be applied as a gift card after the phone is returned but I would rather be seeing the £100 off and getting the £45 as a gift card.....
Update - it worked on my wifes non prime account. After submiting the trade in details I was take to bank login for authorisation of trade in amount.....im not sure why, but then on checkout both the £100 discount and the £45 trade in showed so £150 paid (edited)RaksingarHow on earth are you guys getting this. 1. It works on accounts has been setup ages ago, not recent accounts.
2. During trade-in, if it ask for your credit card, it is an indication that it works.
3. After trade-in, if it works, the pixel 6a product page will have a green tick with Promotion Credit:£100, and it will be deducted at checkout.
