    All mobile phones are now required to be unlocked, as per Ofcom regulations I believe

    the screen brightness is very poor .. compared to huawei p8 lite 2017..not as crisp either.. screen might be hard to view in direct sunlight.

    Plus seems very glitchy..only a few days of use .. shame they banned Huawei.. always got a solid phone on a budget .

    Ram is 3.7 as stated in developer options. Security patch June 2022 after update

    Not knocking the phone .. i just wanted to share my thoughts as i have always found comments useful on HUKD

    Currys did price match for me over the chat last week for £119.09. They gave me code which activated next day after 7.30am. I chose to pick up from store as it is only 5min drive or else you an chose delivery which will be additional £4.00

    Fantastic value for money and if this is your price range you will not find better,sensible software and snappy snapdragon for the price,5g and 120htz are the pointless highlights but the large battery,ok main camera,bloat less pure android software,ample 6.5 screen,decent stereo speakers and high storage stand out,the 4gm of ram could be an issue,android needs 6gb these days to run smooth,and 8gb is ideal,but for the 129 price you would struggle to find better.

    Not bought a Motorola since my Moto g 4g about six/seven years ago which still works and had a clean android with virtually no bloat and quick updates.
    Any idea how Motorola are like with updates nowadays?

    Slow. I currently have a G8 plus released Oct 2019 and last security update was Oct 2021! Stuck on Android 10. So expect that Moto only support for 2 years. The G62 was released June 2022 so probably unsupported after June 2024.
    Loved my G8 plus at the beginning but as soon as two years had passed things got buggy.

    Perfect timing, just about to purchase a Poco M4 Pro (which I know is not 5g) and this appears. Decisions, decisions. Any guidance as to which of these two is the better phone, any help for a phone amateur greatly appreciated.

    None, you need 6gb of ram atleast for chrome to run smoothly so these are garbage..

    You want 5g and 8gb ram as a base or 6gb with a ram boost..

    They goto stop making these 4gb ram phones they simply aint enough.

    No eSIM support.

    I ordered this on 30th november and still not had - they emailed me yesterday to say waiting for more stock, can't give an expected date yet. I'm amazed they are still offering at this price as they can't fulfil the orders they have.

    Sorry, i'm totally clueless with phones. What does dual SIM mean? Does it mean you have two phone numbers on the one phone and why would this be necessary? (edited)
