    Smashing deal for anyone new or existing new it will be that price but existing just make another account and set as primary you will have benefits on your old account aswell even access to games library just have to install it through new account that is one way round it

    Can't get this to work at all, my last subscription ran out in August and I can see the £25 deal but it changes to £49.99 for the year when I click through. Have tried mobile app, mobile web browser and regular PC browser with no luck. Will try through the console when I get home but maybe it's not for all accounts?

    I was not going to bother with Playstation Plus as I've already got more games than time and I prefer single user games.....but for 25 quid I had too!
    Downloaded Mass effect so now have even more games I don't have the time to play
    Can I cancel the subscription straight away so I can get next years deal without automatically being charged the full price?

    Exactly that, just cancel your subscription immediately and it won't auto renew, you can still use your current subscription until that expires

    Is this a good deal if you want to play Assasin Creeds? Looks like the game is included in the subscription and might be cheaper than actually buying the digital game?

    They are ok but incase you didn't know. The assassin creed games are under the playstation (extra) membership. Not essential.

    Unfortunately that isn't the case. Existing subs are stacking the deal. Recently lapsed subscriptions are getting the deal. Some who didn't have ps plus before are unable to get the deal.

    It seems totally random.

    After multiple conversations on live chat over 3 days, in which they said different things each and every time, I now have managed to get this offer to show.

    However, I didn't just wait (and I did not get an email update as promised). I instead signed up for Essentials 1 month, went on live chat and immediately cancelled within 2 minutes. They refunded, and the offer then showed a few hours later.

    Someone said this on Reddit, and it worked!

    No, accounts can't be merged. If you open a new account, any existing purchases will remain with your old account. You may be able to keep both registered on the same console so that certain PS Plus benefits can be shared.

    This deal is exactly the same as last year and there was no problems when doing spot checks in the comments.

    There's clearly an issue with PS at the moment preventing all new or lapsed members purchasing this offer
