sorted byFailing that I'd remove the WiFi chip inside before deployment. It all depends on how good that weatherproof box actually is.
Ignore me im an idiot - (Different plug) Same price online but out of stock : wilko.com/en-…524 (edited)
I bought a few then - £5 is an insane cheap price for these
they have a useful feature where you can turn off the wifi to reduce the power usage - they will always draw some power even with the wifi turned off though
very useful for wifi enabled mowers or any other outdoor tech that needs wifi (edited)
It's technically just the same as the indoor socket but mounted in a outdoor weatherproof box
I suspect it was a different product but cannot be certain
I think when it was £8 a couple of months ago they were old sold out of that specific item at my local wilko so not all stores will have stock now assuming this is a discontinued item (edited)
plenty of stock.
you might want to remove the coventary from the title.
Good find, thanks
