Heinz are an absolute rip off. You can get a tin of decent Chicken soup from Asda for 30p

24p actually! And not really that much difference in the ingredients:

    Asda
Water, Chicken (2%), Modified Maize Starch, Chicken Fat, Cornflour, Rapeseed Oil, Fortified Wheat Flour [Wheat Flour, Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Niacin (B3), Thiamin (B1)], Sugar, Skimmed Milk Powder, Flavourings, Salt, Stabilisers (Diphosphates, Polyphosphates), Yeast Extract, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, White Pepper, Sage Extract, Colour (Carotenes)

    Heinz
Water, Chicken (3%), Modified Cornflour, Rapeseed Oil, Cream (Milk), Wheat Flour (contains Calcium, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin), Dried Skimmed Milk, Flavourings, Milk Proteins, Salt, Yeast Extracts, Onion Extract, Stabiliser - Polyphosphates and Sodium Phosphates, Garlic Salt, Spice Extract, Colour - Beta-Carotene

Sainsbury's own brand, ie potato and leek, stilton and broccoli and others is made by Cross and Blackwell, s@65p a tin and top notch.

if you want 100% chicken, then buy a whole chicken maybe? (edited)

I will never buy Hienz again due to the unjustifiable cost increases.

Well said mate, same here. Hoenz and Haenz are the same. Boycott the lot of them.

Heinz on the other hand are not guilty of unjust increases and I'll continue buying their products

While people are gorging heinz products Heinz are gouging their prices. The slumber continues.

Just got an update from Amazon- expected delivery date March 18-24th !! I guess the chickens are still alive then

Ditched Heinz completely now. This pricing goes to show that they are overpricing there ranges.😔
    ann_daley's avatar
or maybe it costs more as its better quality than supermarkets own brands?

I am never buying Heinz again….

    Ordered Cheers Sash 🔥

Very good deal considering Tesco own brand is 60p a tin ( so £2.40 for 4) and heinz is considerably nicer.

    Bought 2

I did the same, makes sense

    Excellent price, thanks op

I switched to the co-op stuff as the pricing on tinned soup is atrocious ATM. Normally like this so I jumped in for 3 packs as this is cheaper than the co-op.

Waiting for the new Vegan version with no cream in it.
  18. barnehurst's avatar
Good deal, purchased - not paying 60p a tin for Tesco own brand

Hang on…. People buy soup on amazon!? What has happened to the world? Haha.

Look at the ingredients for this, then the ingredients for a 65p can of M&S cream of chicken soup. This looks like utter cr*p in comparison. Heinz are taking people for a ride, but this is a good price compared to RRP, so good find.
  21. littlewind's avatar
I only buy them with such price,i can't be bother if their "normal" price comparing aldi or lidls',especially aldi or lidl 95p soup with so much better value!

Some reviewers say that a lot of the cans were badly dented?
    finknottle's avatar
That’s Amazon for you, whether it’s a book or a tin of soup they like to give it a good kick around the warehouse before lobbing it into a box the size of a car (but if you complain, you’ll more than likely get it for free) (edited)
  27. sumoqueen's avatar
Even lidls own soup is 59p a can now so this is a bargain!
  28. Sylar2023's avatar
    Can this be microwaved?
    stingergb's avatar
Yes it can, without the can that is. (edited)
