Newbie question but do yo have to take 4 people? Lol can you go as a 2/3?

I went last year booked for four as it was cheaper than three. When you roll up at the gate they don't even check. They just tell you to go to your allocated cabin it's already open with the key inside it. Just book as four and go as two if it's cheaper. Devon cliffs is lovely

Wonder if the Vodafone £30 off voucher would work on this

It’s in a absolutely stunning location, the beach was about 2 minute walk from my last stay.
    Well worth the money

It's a shame it's in March as Devon Cliffs is meant to be one of the best Havens. We stayed in a caravan in April and it was freezing. I'm sharing my experience not to be negative but to make people aware that caravans can very cold in the winter and spring (hence why the offers are good then) so it's something you have to consider. We went to Haven in March last year and the caravan heating was on the whole time. Lovely and toasty

I went in October last year... I've not been caravanning for nearly 20 years but this experience , despite the bad weather ☁️ at the time was overall good... If you are worried about the heating please don't ..Ive never been as cosy due to their onboard central heating ...

The beach down there was spectacular... And there is plenty of places to explore outside the park ..

The facilities are what you would expect to see , mostly aimed at kids but I was using the van as base so didn't need them outside of the wifi as my Vodafone phone could not get any signal inside the van .. EE is the main service I. That part of the world ...
There is an Aldi on the way down to haven so nice and convenient for stocking up on fridge stuff for breakfast etc...

I completely forgot about the signal issue but it was quite the nightmare when trying to look up what to do day to day

I have never been to any Haven holidays.

Is car parking free, and you can park next to your holiday home please?
    keefly's avatar
Yes it is & yes (or very nearby)

The virus can only live on hard/soft surfaces for 14 days so anyone booking will be fine.

Haven are the best value holiday company in the UK imo. Best way to travel around the UK especially for large family's 5+.

Great value for 2 as well, cheaper than Travelodge, much more space & great facilities.

I quite like the thought of leaving the family behind & having a man cave to myself for 4 days & cranking up the heaters & electrics without the cost, stocking the fridge without having the contents nicked & having access to the remote without it being lost or moans about the channel!
Takeaways, arcades & restaurants too & only £49! Bargain!

But you know you wont be allowed to go

It's a sense of freedom you don't get with other holidays

Visited here last year..A lovely beach and a great walk along the clifftops to Exmouth... or (as has been said) along the shoreline at low tide. March is dodgy weatherwise, but we did have a very mild end of March 22 (20c!). Here's hoping for the same again! £49 is ridiculously cheap 🔥

    Booked The Orchards, Essex instead.

Hope this link works. Found one in my neck of the woods from your post. Thanks.

This is a great site right on the beach and you can walk to Exmouth if you are fit. Easier at low tide

It’s not a great beach to be fair. Full of seaweed when we went and the sea wasn’t very appealing unlike other areas of Devon

A fantastic deal for those of us on a budget. Thank you.
    markoUK's avatar
No doubting it’s a good deal but sadly (as usual) it precludes any family with school aged children who really can never seem to catch any break in trying to take their family on an affordable holiday.
  17. kmkuk's avatar
With this price for 4 nights, I doubt if the owner can recover the cost on energy.

I know it's hard atm but try not to worry about bourne leisure their Net Worth, £437,089,000.00 and Total Current Assets, £232,806,000.00 they will scrape through these hard time.

I'd rather pay £2 more, it'd be easier to manage the holiday once booked.

I read somewhere on the site before that you have to have kids at the sites. Is this still true? Can you just go as a group of adults?
    Leonh's avatar
Oh I hope not haha I’m not sure about this site but I’ve booked the Blackpool one for 2 adults and put zero children, surely it would of said something and not let you travel there.

Site been shut down. Doesn’t surprise me
