No guarantees it will be the same price (£199.99) when it comes back into stock on 6/3/23 but it will come with 2 years extra warranty compared to this one. And Lakeland's 3 year warranty is arguably the best in the market. A potential big money saver.

Owning several shark ninja products, I can vouch for their reliability
Only downside is their customer service is poor if you have to contact them (edited)

Well I couldn't hold out for a cheaper price any longer so went for this, I have had it in my Amazon basket for a while so glad I waited for a price drop. I already have a 7.6l dual air fryer (not Ninja) and whilst it's perfectly adequate I still ended up wishing I had gone for the largest size available. As far as I know this is the only air fryer on the market that can go up to 240c (feel free to correct me if I am wrong). My son is autistic and pretty much lives on chicken nuggets but hates if the coating is not crispy, so I am really hoping the Max Crisp function will be worth it, fingers crossed. (edited)

When you cook these, I'd suggest cooking on air fry or roast and then turn on max crisp towards the end of the cooking. There's a Facebook group for Ninja owners with loads of good recipes and advice.

I appreciate if you need/want a Ninja and can't wait then this is the price - but it's worth is £150/£160 tops and I won't be paying more ever, unless it comes down to this price. Might be a year or more, who knows.

I don't know what the 400 was selling for before all the overinflated nonsense but I bought the 300 for £129.00 and have seen cheaper than that so 100% agree with you. (edited)

Brilliant piece of kit - got mine for 179£ but insane demand has pushed the prices up. We use ours daily and only used traditional oven handful of times since getting one. Top tip - make sure you push it away from a wall when in use as the vents are at the back - I've seen people with melted sockets etc online. (edited)

Got mine also from argos for that price but have Been unlucky 2 different ones both have a fault with the panel bubbly

    Honestly, these are awful.

Wife swapped out our xxl Philips air fryer for one of these and the chips either come out burned or soggy. Not a patch on the Philips.

Having been an air fryer user for the past three years, we recently bought a new Ninja. We are quite underwhelmed.

Firstly the build quality in my opinion is poor. We weren't expecting all the silver embellishments to be tacky chrome effect plastic, and thought the main body would be made of better quality plastic (similar to their processors) - We've considered packing it away in a cupboard after each use, but it's just not practical.

Additionally I would urge potential buyers to give serious thought as to whether they need a dual fryer. We would have been better off with a large capacity single pot fryer again. Each pan on the Ninja is deep, but that in our experience isn't massively useful. To overcome this we've had to buy separate steamer racks.

For what we paid and what we got, I'm trying hard not to be bitter. (edited)

My Hotpoint Class 2 DD2544CIX Built In Electric Double Oven as 0.7 and 0.9kw this has 2.5kw so how can I work out which is more efficient when this is supposed to be faster? I don’t really believe the 65% mark comparing with something modern
    newbie68's avatar
Only you can work it out. How long do you use the oven for weekly in hours and times that by the wattage. As things cook quicker in the Ninja (assuming you don't have one) you will need to estimate the hours used there and multiply by the wattage (2.5KW if both baskets on and half that if one on) - now you know the difference if any

Basic comparison - chicken nuggets cook in my oven in around 35 mins (7-8 mins to reach temp) and the Ninja 10 mins total. Thick fish fillets in breadcrumbs (frozen) takes the longest for me close to 20 mins in the Ninja. Everything else takes 8-15 mins (same things in oven taking 25-40 mins)

Is this good for double chips or what about fish finger and chips separate baskets. Or a whole pizzas in halves ? Asking for a friend .

Items such as fish fingers, chicken nuggests, chicken fillets, burgers etc.. all come out fantastic but cook extremely fast so takes some getting used to.
Thinner chips and fries are really good if you regularly shake them about but i found thick chips are hit and miss, some under cooked some burnt.
    Not tried pizza

Ninja direct are selling this on eBay for £220 but with 5% off so cheaper than this

Absolute ripoff. You can get dual air fryers around 100 to 120ish. You're paying for the name, more fool you. And not even a good name at that. They make some subpar products, especially their blenders.

All their products feel cheapy plastic with questionable build quality. To top it off their customer service stinks too. (edited)

They also own Shark. I’ve got 4 shark products (2 floor hoovers, handheld mini hoover and an air purifier) and rate all of them

Not paying that price.Going to wait until they drop to £49.99.

What does that have over this?

    Superb piece of kit.
Bought one from QVC on pre-release for £160 and have had no regrets what so ever!

If you’re in the market for an air fryer get a Ninja.
They can achieve ultra hot temperatures compared to other cheaper models.

I have one of these and I found it on here for £160ish so not sure if it’s a good deal. However, this is a fantastic air fryer with all the options you need and you will hardly ever need to use your oven.

I’ve been using this and it my wife and I along with my 3 children so you can get a lot done in decent time
  18. sam800's avatar
Does it come with 2 years warranty?
    Czubaka's avatar
These have 1y warranty unless you buy through a retailer that offers their own for longer.

Best avoid Ninja products, their Customer Service is non existent!

Absolute dogs danglies, brilliant piece of kit no matter how much you pay. I don’t use oven anymore so eventually it’ll be a free purchase. Steaks fish chicken all come out perfect even from frozen. Even veg can roasted. We are foodies and it’s versatility is beyond belief

Highly recommend checking out Ninjas store on eBay. Just picked up the model up from this which includes a digital probe function for £199.99.

It came in the proper box & after closely looking it must have been brand new / unused anyway!

They're basically the same thing yeah. We have a one of those at our caravan. They were all the rage a few years ago. Just like air fryers are now. And yes only £35! (edited)
  23. hbo86's avatar
Anyone got one from this deal? Im wanting to see if they've got a decent quality one. I've had 3 bad ones from argos. All bad bumpy panels
  24. GunMetal's avatar
John Lewis sometimes have £15 off £120 spend. They give 2 years warranty. With TCB it comes to about £130 and typically in stock.
