The Kraken is an imported rum from the Caribbean blended with secret spices.

Named for the sea beast of myth and legend, The Kraken is bold, rich, black and smooth. The largest shipment of Caribbean black spiced rum was said to be brought down by The Kraken.

The rum was named in its honor, as it was as dark and mysterious as the beast’s ink The Kraken is housed in a replica of a Victorian flagon, which allowed the bottle to be hung up on board ships so it would not roll around and come to harm.

    I bought a couple of 1ltr bottles at £20 each just before Christmas, so it's probably worthwhile waiting that bit longer for a better deal.... but voted hot because its a good rum and cheaper than supermarkets, i suppose its this price as Amazon don't pay UK taxes !!!

    If you have 5 or more s&s items you get the larger discount. Find items here amazon.co.uk/Sub…031. Lots of everyday things way cheaper than the shops. Remember to check prices monthly before every deliver and cancel as necessary prices change. Next month this will probably be £26.

    I ordered the 1ltr for £20 in the last offer. It never turned up. Amazon sent me another one out and then they both turned up. 2ltr s for £20

    Agreed but it is rare for the litre bottle to be priced at £20. It was at that price briefly last December but the offer price is normally at about £22 to £23. This works out at £23.53 so it is pretty decent if not brilliant. The single most important thing is that it is actually available now when my cupboard is bare.

    Wood's Old Navy Rum 57% is on sale at Amazon for £20 down from £30. Do yourself a favour and buy it instead, unless all you want is a fancy bottle.

    Should be a maximum £17 per litre imo, just like all the other basic spirits - Smirnoff, Gordons, Bacardi, Bells etc. Kraken is far too sweet, almost like a syrup. There are much better spiced rums out there in this price range (edited)
