    Good deal imo. Used to own one from a good few generations back.
    This looks far more premium with alloy chassis and that 16 by 10 screen.

    For Inspiron 14 it says 250 nits but I can't see any mention for 2 in 1 model I suppose both are the same unless I am missing anything .

    Not a bad deal but not a good deal either in my opinion .
    I got a version of this for £450 just over a year ago from Dell outlet. Came with 8GB Ram so had to upgrade it.

    Sorry but I think you should keep looking.
    I like Dell because they have Thunderbolt on some of these models , but I find recently Asus have better deals

    My 11 year old XPS is slowly dying, which is a shame, as it's been rock solid!

    It's a 9023, 8GB DDR3 RAM from memory. Does anyone know how this would compare?

    If its the 9Q23 that's a classic machine, built like a tank. Mine took an absolute beating, I used to take it everywhere including months of backpacking around Asia. It out lasted 3 power supplies. Its still going now but is in retirement on Linux. Believe it or not my partner ran over her XPS in a Ford Focus (don't ask me how this could happen, it still baffles me) and it was fine!!!

    This Inspiron won't have the same build quality and wouldn't last a decade of abuse but is much, much faster, way more cores and better graphics, a totally different league. Not sure the screen is great though, it'll be better than a 10 year old screen that most likely has burns by now (mine does anyway) but poor compared to the modern XPS. The battery in it is reasonable. (edited)
