If this is anything like similar deals then it should be possible to return the vacuum bags for £7.47 meaning the filament only costs £6.52

Oo interesting, I might just do that, thanks for the tip!

What's a good 3d printer model to be watching out for in the range £200 to £300? I hear about S1... but then there's S1 Pro, S1 Plus... dear lord. (edited)

I've got the S1 and can highly recommend it. Done all sorts of prints with it. Using both TPU and PLA. Fairly easy to use once you get the hang of it. Added a Sonic Pad and light to mine

Suddenly got refunded for filament (which was supposed to arrive on 28 April) but not for the vacuum kit which was delivered...

I kicked up a huge stink about this using online chat. Amazon were trying to pass the buck, I eventually won a refund without having to send the bags back, but it was a hard fight.

the free vaccum kit is availble on some other esun filaments, but i couldnt find a way to just find those :/ and they will be mostly normal price....

I also picked up the usb vaccum and 10 bags kit, as that seems decent value and im lazy

theres a link in the description to print a vaccum cleaner adapter for the industrious

Didn't really need blue, but that's too good an offer not to take up.

    Thanks for the post.

    Thanks OP, ordered

Thanks ordered. I too don’t need blue but handy to have. The vacuum bags are a bit crap cos they leak after a few uses so it will be nice to have spares.

Not sure what I did but it came in even cheaper for me - £12.99 as a Subscribe & Save first order. Nice one OP. Will be first time printing PETG so that'll be interesting, but I have a couple of scooter parts I want to do so have been meaning to try anyway.
    Roygroyg's avatar
Did you still get the free vacuum bags at that price? When I took up the promotion it switched me automatically to buy it now.

    Nice find OP

Any tips for getting petg to print well? I've followed temp settings etc and it comes out rough and brittle for me so far (not this brand). TIA.
    AndrewFothergill's avatar
Might need to make sure it's no absorbed too much moisture, normally if it's bubbling it's because the petg has absorbed water
  14. stinkybeard's avatar
I take it I've missed the vacuum kit? Pah!
    43tr's avatar
Yeah, I'm wondering the same with the kit

ESun PLA+ and PETG ROCK for strength, quality and ease of PRINTING (for the PLA+ anyway). This BLUE in PLA+ is a really nice shade. Very bright, quite shiny. I assume the PETG is the same although probably even shinier! Close to the spider-man blue. Here's one of my makes using the PLA+ thingiverse.com/make:999282

Edited after I realised I hadn't read the title properly! (edited)

I have the same experience but this is PETG
