Details

At the heart of the Sony X94 TV you'll find the top-of-the-line Sony XR processor with Cognitive Intelligence. It replicates the way our brains think and respond, so you'll see enhanced detail and incredibly realistic images. The Full-Array display with XR Contrast Booster automatically adjusts brightness and contrast, giving you the perfect balance on screen. And XR TRILUMINOS Pro recreates a wider palette of colours, delivering beautiful hues, even in dark scenes. Acoustic Multi-Audio makes it seem like the sound is coming straight from the screen, so everything you watch is more immersive.

Good to know

- Whether you're watching sports, movies, or TV, you won't miss a moment thanks to XR Motion Clarity - images are precisely controlled to minimise blur for a smooth, bright, and clear picture.
- Dolby Atmos surround sound technology offers a cinematic experience that makes it feel like the action is happening all around you
- XR Surround Upscaling transforms all your entertainment into a surround-sound experience using just the TV speakers
- The X-Wide Angle panel and X-Anti Reflection screen lets you see every detail, no matter where you're sitting in the room or time of day
- Minimalist One Slate design makes the picture the focus thanks to a super slim bezel
- The stand can be positioned in 3 different ways – standard for large furniture, narrow for smaller furniture and a raised position that lets you tuck your soundbar neatly under your TV
- For console gaming it'll automatically switch to Auto Low Latency Mode in HDMI 2.1 for smoother, more responsive gameplay
- With Google Assistant you can simply use your voice to control your TV - you can get answers on screen, control your smart home devices, plan your day and much more

What's the cheapest this will go, once the latest models are released?

New tvs come out in April. They want all old TVs out by August. So July to August it will be around 1k or below, but longer u leave it less chance you have of getting one. That's when I got my 94j for a bargain but had to travel to another town in the end (edited)

I got lucky and managed to get a 65 inch x90k for £620 about 5 weeks ago, was the sellers last one. The screen on the x94k is the same, only difference seems to be the 94 has a microphone built into the tv and the better remote that comes with the oled/mini led tvs. I done allot or reading of rtings before buying the tv and would have been put off by rtings if I did not get such a good price, after using the tv, i will be taking rtings reviews with a pinch of salt, they basically say this tv is unwatchable off axis but i see no major issues reviewing from the sides. there is some gamma/colour shift off axis but the better overall picture means that even with the shift the picture is better than my previous LG IPS panels from the sides and 10 times better directly in-front. If you cant afford or do not want to go to an oled panel then this tv is very good up to a certain price point.

I seen more issues on the 85j than the 94k on watching TV from off axis. Tried watching Jack Ryan sitting in corner of the room and it wasn't great. So had to sit in front. On 94k I can sit on any seats in the lounge and image is fine.

If you can get a 95j then that would be better as it is true FALD with mini LED

The 95 is the best sont tv you can get without going OLED (edited)
