Currently Apple are doing 0% finance with Barclyes for 24 months, if anyone wants

dont they pretty much do this all the time?

Had mine since release and still at 100% battery life so wouldn’t worry about that for anyone buying.

What's people's past experience been like with Mozillions 'Good as new' range?

They claim the phone will arrive almost as new and you won't be able to tell the difference, which sounds quite appealing - has this description held up for other's here? (edited)

i bought a pristine 13 pro max and battery was still >90% but drained very fast and didn’t score well in a battery test. no quibbles return . did have better luck with giffgaff . (edited)

Half year old technology, not even brand new. Still almost a grand. Seriously.

Yep apple phones hold their value well

Why do they still even do 128GB, Should start at 256GB for this price.

This is a company that's sells 60hz phones in 2023 for £849 starting price. Do you really have to ask?

If you don’t like Apple just don’t buy it man. You won’t understand.

Love my apple devices but I am also critical of their shortcomings and Apple’s business tactics.

I wish mozillion reduce their fees. They charge 12% fees to the seller and because of that seller have to charge more. (edited)
    HottUKDealer's avatar
Yep 12% eats in to your sale price quite a bit
  10. edanfalls's avatar
For this price, you might as well buy used locally. People often buy expensive phones on contract then decide they don't want them.
A couple of weeks ago I bought the 14 Pro 1TB in completely mint condition for £900. It had only been used for a few days ago then they decided to get an S23 instead.
You can check the serial number online and you get the full Apple warranty... so I see no advantage to paying more from a retailer. You just have to be patient and wait a few days for the right phone to turn up locally. (edited)

What do you mean by locally?

Idk what I’ve been doing, the battery health of my iPhones has never dropped below 90% and I’ve owned the devices for 3+ years. I always charge it whenever able to and never let it drop below 30% maybe
    JasSingh93's avatar
That’s absolutely the correct way to maintain battery health! Batteries hate being fully charged or discharged.

Best practice is to keep the charge level between 20%-80%. I have the same charging habits as you, and my 3 year old XS Max is at 92% health.

Took the plunge witih paypal protection on 14 Pro Max 512 GB at £1170 in Excellent condition (after the £20 discount voucher form this deal). This is the first time dealing with this company and only one 512 was there. @crazyraptor's experience gave some hope, but was not holding my breath. I thought of returning as soon as possible if the deveice is half decent. To my surprice, the phone delivered as prestine with no marks with 100% battery. 11 Months apple warranty left on it (10-Feb-2024) was cherry on the top.

Looks like pot luck and I was lucky.

Thanks @MrSwitch for the post (though I hate you for draining my account with hot deals ) and @crazyraptor for sharing his experience.

picked up one from giffgaff last week for nearly 100 more. Had iPhone XR, and wasn't expecting much improvement but I'm pleasantly surprised at how long the battery lasts and the screen is amazing + virtually no lag in loading basic apps which XR would stutter or take 1-2 seconds to load, small things but add up to the overall experience. (edited)
    PonJaul76's avatar
Virtually no lag when loading basic apps. I'd hope so for the money tbh

Heat! That’s a good deal. The Pro edition is the way iPhones will go me thinks. Oh, and camera is . Dynamic island (which is the update to the ‘notch’) is used by most native apps but will fly once other Apps start building for it.
    Jyoosi's avatar
Camera is average compared to most other flagships, dynamic island is a gimmick to stop people complaining about the notch.

There's nothing "pro" about it. But it's expensive and has a fruit logo on it so people feel good about themselves when they finance one.

Anyone have a discount code for selling? Ie to get a small extra amount?
  22. cfaboy's avatar
For those that have sold with Mozillion, do you just sent the phone itself. Or do you also need to include the original box and charger cable etc.  thank you
    ohsomeonenew's avatar
If you sell it as good as new then they need everything else you can just send a phone.
  23. AamirQuazi's avatar
Giff gaff have good condition for £799 and excellent £879… some people have got lucky there with good being virtually new.
  24. coltceavers's avatar
I like the idea of buying a refurbished phone but With only an 85% battery I can’t do it. My iPhone 11 has around 80% battery when fully charged and I can’t rely on it all day if I actually want to use it
    Sandmannn's avatar
That battery health check is the most stupid feature on a phone. Everyone is checking it now and it makes harder to sell if it is low. Back in the days when we do not have that feature nobody cared now that is the first thing people ask when they buy a used iPhone. 80% even 85% is still good and it can last easily for a whole day. Do not understand what is a fuss all about this.
I hope android phones are not going to implement this feature!
  25. johnnybgood's avatar
Given the minimal upgrades on the iPhone 14 Pro I personally think the iPhone 13 Pro is much better value now - for me the iPhone 13 mini is the best option
  26. Dan_Brown1's avatar
Can we expect IP68 on refurbished iphones? (Giffgaff or Mozillion)
    JasSingh93's avatar
I would say with extreme caution. As it depends whether the phone has been opened, and by who. A professional would re apply the seals correctly. An amateur may not.

Ah gutted just seen an as good as new 14 pro max in the colour I got (deep purple) for 1000 on this website. I paid the full whack 1199 just last month and can’t return
  28. tygr's avatar
Has anyone returned their phone? I want to send mine back and every time I go on the chat, they say that there isn’t anyone available to help me.
  29. MrFlux001's avatar
I had iphones until the 12 Pro Max, then realised the actual innovation and extras in the next iteration were so pitiful that it's not worth upgrading. I see nothing had changed from 13 to 14 either. Currently got the Z Fold 4 which is on another dimension.

Apart from Foldables, all android and apple new releases are just iterations of what has come before, slightly better battery, slightly better camera tech, higher refresh display etc.,

Which is the reason I am currently using two Huawei mate 20X (4G & 5G) as my daily devices, they run just as smooth as they always have
