It has a 10600 mAh (Li-Polymer) battery.
It has Android 13 which is the latest Android version. It appears to have Google Play services so you should be able to use Google Maps and Waze and other dedicated GPS apps.
However if you do get any Google Play errors follow this guide to troubleshoot them >

As this is a rugged device with a massive battery and it supports all GPS positioning systems then yes I would say it is very good as a dedicated sat nav. It only supports 4G but that is generally good enough and ideally if travelling around the country you want downloadable maps or downloadable areas, which you can do in Google Maps for example or even moreso in other apps (not Waze) such as Here WeGo: Maps & Navigation.

Not talking about zoom
Obviously it's not gonna be as good as a dedicated IR lamp and IR DSLR but who's gonna walk around with all that.
I am not sure I would trust this device at this price point for long term quality and its strange how the company has not put out review versions to push it
