Are these OLEDs finally able to present bluray movies as smoothly and naturally as Plasmas of old?
I struggle with LCD TVs including QLED . Even when you switch off setting that encourage the "soap opera effect" or harsh contrast/brightness tone curves.
OLEDs are the best in motion handling compared to LCD(QLED, LED etc) but as they are all sample and hold technologies it has inherent stutter. For high frame rate content this is gone but TV content is still 24fps so not as hidden.
They do handle 24p Blu-ray content without the judder though if that's what you mean.
The C1 has black frame insertion option as well which helps with motion, after the c1 they crippled this option a bit so this might be a good option to look at using if you get one.
RS have C1 5514LB for £849 in store. Would they price beat?
CS can be had for 899 elsewhere.
