How does Mini LED compare with OLED?

Depends on your room as much as anything else. Better in bright room, worse in dark.

Can't find any UK reviews, though, being mindful that an AVForums member suggests Hisense's European offerings are different to the US, this may suffice.

    (South African reviewer Arcade ZA):

Edit: Not sure this TV is the same as the UK model, actually, this South African listing suggests their model has "120Hz panel" and "Peak Brightness 2000". (edited)

I have the 65" 2021 model of this TV and it's brilliant, can't recommend it enough. My model has a built in sub and upwards firing speakers for awesome Dolby atmos

I believe you're referring to the 65U8H? I got the same from Costco for £849 and am very pleased with PQ and sound. I must say the sound has some serious bass too!

Wouldn’t touch Hisense ever again. Performance and quality isn’t nowhere near the standard it should be regardless of the price.

I got the 65U8H miniLED, 120Hz QLED recently from Costco and seriously impressed with the picture quality and sound. Had compared to a friend's C2 OLED in a home setting and against multiple high end QLED and miniLEDs from Samsung in showrooms, and the PQ is truly excellent. Over 1500 nits in HDR too. It replaced a 4 year old 55N5500 which had worked daily with no issues, even the smart apps were functional when I got rid of it a few months ago.
Been happy with both performance and quality with Hisense so far.

Wish I was looking/could afford/could get away with getting a new TV and would love this.

If we had a 75" TV, it would look odd in our living room. Too big for the room.

It is a very good price but 8bit + FRC and only 4k@60

    What are you talking about?

Isn’t the UK U9 different to the US version?
    dolanduck's avatar
Yes. Both are crap though, Hisense is well behind TCL in their similar offerings.

Terrible motion processing, rubbish QC, panel defects and half baked software...

For this price you can surely pick up something smaller but better in the C835K...

Any decent 50/55 inch tvs atm or any I should keep an eye on incase they drop around £500.
It's only for sky q / Netflix etc no gaming.

Why. I am considering to replace hisense 75a7gqtuk with it?

The blooming on this is the worst i have experienced on any TV i have ever purchased... i returned and purchased a 65 inch Sony LCD display instead and I'm much much happier.
The interface is pretty naff, didn't talk well with the home cinema on arc and the infotmation it provides is naff. Colour accuracy is pretty bad too.
However i appreciate all the above is subjective to those who have experience and the eyes/ears for it. For the vast majority I dont think they will care. I wonder if the £799 75 TCL qled is a much better deal.

What would be a better alternative on a budget that would do 4K UHD at 120hz ?
