Good idea, much easier way to get spied on than relying on a balloon

You can install Linux or go for a clean reinstallation of Windows

This is the one with 1920x1080 rather than 2880x1800 resolution.

    It's 2.2K (2240x1400)

Think this is a 5600u, couldnt see anywhere where it states it but thats what the prodict code shows. The ebay listing has mention of Intel i5 and Ryzen 5th Gen.

I hope this isn't a silly question from a non techy, but does wi-fi 6 download faster than wi-fi 5 even if the internet download speed is the same?
Plus in their item description it says the laptop has wi-fi 6 but the header says 5.

Chances are, unless you have 300 Mbps connection or more, you will not see much difference. Or you have several people trying to stream video at the same time.

how long does battery last on this, can't see anything specifically stated apart from "all-day battery life. When you do need a boost, get it quickly—15 minutes’ charging time gives you another two hours of battery life.". Ideally would like to see MM18 rating to compare against other machines, and can't find anything on lenovo website for it? Thanks

So far without really paying attention, i got 8 hours whilst doing some setup on it. Seems like it'll have some serious runtime when not churning!

If it comes back into stock any thoughts on this 2K Pro model deal verses the higher/newer cpu ryzen 7, longer battery life, and wifi 6 model... at £549, on the lenovo website... lenovo.com/gb/…ruk

The newer cpu and longer battery life is competing against the 2k screen for me, but not sure if there's anything else i'm missing. I don't think the "Pro" in the title makes any difference? Thanks
    TimbOMFG's avatar
IMHO the loss of the 2k display and better graphics option would make it poor value. £10 less for slightly more (not newer) cpu, less gpu power, and lower res display.

Fantastic deal. I would have purchased this if they delivered to Northern Ireland 🥲
    rapid111111's avatar
Always see the issue about N. Ireland. Sorry don't know much, but wanted to ask. Isn't there a way you can forward it on? and i guess it would just be postage costs? Would that be a lot more? (edited)

Is this with nvidia geforce MX450 ?

If the product code is correct then it is.

    Not brilliant tbh. I got the 16" 2.5k 120hz version of this with a 5800H, 16GB, 1TB SSD, RTX3050 for £630.

14" always seem to cost a bit more or have lesser specifications.

Stonking deal for the money IMHO. Grabbed one myself. Can't upgrade the RAM but a 2K+ 14" display, zen 3, and 16gb of ram for under £600 is cracking value for money!

    Hmm tempted

Both USB-C ports looks to be 2.0 and don't support DisplayPort - so no docking over single cable. Deal breaker.
  15. Flyer01's avatar
I can't see a port list here or in the Ebay description.

Hot from me. 15" and I'd jump. Has everything I need except that.

This isn't aluminium is it, because I could accept 14" rather than 15" if it was...? (edited)

    Hi,

The keyboard in the pictures looks like a US one, can anyone confirm if it is actually supplied with UK keyboard? i.e that it has the " above the 2 digit, and a # immediately next to the enter key etc?

    Thanks
    chriskrt's avatar
UK keyboard. Its not backlit though. Shocking:/
