All laptops should be able to be purchased with option of not having windows pre installed. Saves a decent bit of money off the overall price.

Without an OS, manufacturers can’t install their bloatware and preinstalled junk for subsidies, that’s why you don’t see it often. I am surprised Lenovo gives -£90 for it but it is a hefty saving and easy enough to do yourself.

Ah if this had ok dedicated graphics card I'd be all over it. There was a scorching deal on something similar a year or so ago that if I remember was a Ryzen 7 and 3050 and the 120hz screen was touch as well which I actually placed an order for but they kept cancelling due to no stock. Nothing has come close to as good spec for the money since then unfortunately though this is the best I've spotted.

I found an IdeaPad 5 Pro 16" with 6600HS CPU and RTX 3050 on Currys Clearance for £535 the other day which meets most of those requirements, wasn't sure what the refresh rate was but the display was the 2.5K 100% sRGB one.

Almost exactly the specs I was looking for, but 16" is too big

Would this work well with a egpu, having 40gb usb4, would it pair well with a 3060 or similar?

You can buy virtually the same laptop with a GPU here ebay.co.uk/itm…-j9

I ordered the 14 inch version of this without the OS. The status changed on Monday to 'Shipped', but there is still no tracking number? Is this normal? Lenovo customer care have been absolutely useless trying to get more info out of them. Thanks!

Yes it’s normal. Just let it be and it’ll turn up. I think mine came by UPS. Though it was UPS who lost one of the items for a few days…
