How do I put an OS on this? Thanks

You download either Windows 10 or 11 from the Microsoft website and install by USB. However it won't be activated until you buy a product key. Will still be usable but a few features will be restricted.

I posted these cheaper with 512gb for £280.50p and people disliked them(even cheaper with news letter), they cost more and people see value in them now.. how

Sheeps. If something doesn’t get traction quick they’re all expert critics . If it goes hot fast they join the gush parade . This is a good price , yours was better .

Don't rely on any Lenovo first order discount code, the moment any automatic savings are applied the code becomes invalid.

Too big! Why make the screen soo big?? 15.6 inch screen is just too big. How are you supposed to navigate this laptop around trains and airports???

Got one last month for slightly less (deal mentioned by pdpd) with 512GB, fingerprint reader and the 3-cell battery but sent it back. Would have been satisfied with it but the wifi was atrocious unless under 5m from the router, speedtests were showing only 10% the speed of another laptop in the room where it would have mainly been used. Likewise the bluetooth wouldn't hold a signal more than a foot away. The screen seemed a bit dim at anything less than the maximum brightness as well but I probably would have got used to that.

Sounds like the Wi-Fi antenna cables were loose. I’d have opened it and checked or made sure not damaged - would make sense as both wireless radios bad.

Can anyone recommend a good laptop which has USB C charging and a light up keyboard? It'll mostly be used for browsing and downloading so doesn't need the most advanced specs.

I'm looking to replace my 2014 laptop, which despite being upgraded to an SSD and double the RAM is just too creaky now with its outdated pprocessor. The battery barely lasts an hour now before needing to be charged so it really does need an upgrade.

Anyone knows why the 10% discount code for sign-up doesn't work?
    i_need_bargains's avatar
    i_need_bargains
Yes because anything you buy that has 'instant savings' can't also get an extra 10% off. So basically it's a useless code.

I am having no end of issues trying to use my 10% off code as a new signer up to the newsletter... Has anyone managed with these?

(if I click the link in the email on my phone it displays once on the site, but refuses to accept it as valid, and if I try from a pc, the code is never displayed and I end up with the code, taken from my mobile, still being unusable)

    Any help appreciated

(edit... I see comment from @i_need_bargains above... Can't do on these laptops due to automatic savings already applied) (edited)

Managed to get the following combo for £280...without any discount codes.

Artic grey comes through at this price... Either of the blues instantly bump it to £319 or £330,and the back lit keyboard is only available on artic grey or abyss blue.

Somehow selecting the gen 4 tlc and the larger battery are the key components to getting it to drop to this price. I played for about 8 hours on and off trying to get this price.

Is it a plastic chasis? As I'm looking for an aluminium one, but it doesn't seem to say anywhere, what the chassis are made from on the Lenovo website.

Just recieved mine. Plastic body, but other bits seem good, especially for £280 delivered (less potential tcb).
Sadly, had missed it didn't come with wired ethernet 🤷‍♀️ and the usb c hub with ethernet connector I was using wasn't recoginsed either when booting from the windows 11 pro iso image.

Sadly disappointed with the camera quality, especially compared to the acer travelmate p2 's FHD one I'd just returned, but I can't have everything...

8gb ram stick ordered, and should be good to go.

I ordered, arrived but RAM works at frequency 2666 instead of 3200 Mhz. Checked in Aida64 and HWinfo.. showing 2666 CL19.
