sorted byI was tempted, but happy with my D7.
Neato Robotics D8 also on sale @ £199

There an optional pet brush you can buy, which has rave reviews, but I have never felt it necessary (and it seems to be quite expensive for what it is)
I have owned an LG, a Neato and now a Eufy robot cleaner... the Neato lasted 14 months and then did a perpetual reverse-slight turn-revese thing. It thought it was constantly bumping into something and it wasn't.
Seems like a known issue that can't be fixed and sadly it was outside of warranty (only 12 months).
I had the D750 and sadly I can't recommend them at all.
Just my experience... I paid 378 for it from Amazon and it ended up being an expensive doorstop.
If you're still using it as a doorstep, I will happily take it off your hands
Parts and cloud will be supported for 5 years, they say.
All these issues were seemingly software issues and have slowly been resolved through updates; I've also noted some very active and helpful Neato reps on the FB group, so they seem to be proactive and have offered direct help where required, so seem to be better on that point. From more recent reviews and comments, it seems that most that are now purchasing this are now happy with what they have
While these are the latest model(s), with the D10 being the most expensive, it's still based on the older design and is now a step behind some other manufacturers. It's why I'm sticking with my D7 as, for me, the upgrade really is not worth it; Neato was once regarded as top of the range with their robovac, but now it's probably mid to lower range against others; at this price point, it still represents fantastic value for money for what you get (edited)
Are spare parts (filters/rollers etc) cheap and easily available?
They were taken over by Vorwerk in 2017, and arguably have fallen behind competitors in development; their recent releases post-D7 have been underwhelming in terms of evolution and had issues at launch, so some claimed Vorwerk had damaged the brand - however, many of the issues have been resolved by updates, there won't many better robovac's at this pricepoint
Spare parts are easy to find; OEM stuff is not cheap, but there are after-market spares that are cheaper.
But.... I just bought the Midea P7 last week.
Should I return this and buy this?
Whilst the Midea P7 is non Lidar, it works fine for me
I know Neato is a very established Robovac
