I went with blink cameras for our home & have several. Although the quality is good beware that if you do not have a subscription you will have to store video locally on a micro sd card. My biggest issue is that you lose so many features if you do not pay for a subscription that if I was aware would have stopped me going with blink.

Well the only thing you're missing without subscription is ability to save live view video. All videos triggered by motion are indeed saved automatically and is available for viewing via app. Also you don't need a micro sd card, you need a regular USB thumb drive.

Keep in mind motion detection is poor. And in darkness non existent regardless of settings. A yihome £20 camera is far superior however is not wireless.

That's not correct. I have it and the motion detection works fine in the dark so there may be an issue with yours or your settings
