Very very tempted to upgrade from PS4. Was waiting for £450ish but this seems like a really nice deal. Does anyone have a BLC code to spare please?
    mark6220's avatar
Maybe wait until the slim comes out. But that could be next year.
I've owned all the various playstations.
The gap is getting narrower when it comes to PQ.
The ps5 still can't really do native 4k.. Some games such as forbidden west and GT7 really struggle with the ps5 limitations.
If you want a really decent upgrade from ps4 then wait for the ps5 pro.
Sony could have released a ps5 that was more powerful but they make more money with a mid cycle upgrade. As they did with the ps4 pro. Hence the two versions. It's all down to money.
And yes I did go from the ps4 to the pro. And no I won't be doing that with the ps5 (edited)

    Nice post op, sooooo tempted.

Just to confirm, BLC £20 off still valid, just checked.

Tried again this morning with success so order placed.

think the deal on BLC has expired, says ends 3rd april, my codes keep saying invalid
    Shure's avatar
Same here, shame it didn't run until the end of the 3rd.

FYI, Noticed in latest bt email that price is valid until 16/04 or while stocks last

Best deal at the moment. I just feel as we get closer and closer to the reveal of the ps5 slim (probably in september), and with no stock issues now, there are better deals to come. I think there have to be deals on the psvr2 also, as it seems to have been a sales flop so far. At the very least they need to be bundling it with two or three games like gran turismo 7.

You've got to be kidding, I just paid £519 for this deal last week!
    Ben_Mooreart's avatar
Just to add to my comment, I called them up and they're honouring the new price and refunding me the difference

Paid this for just the console and game a couple weeks ago. Great deal

These deals seem to be getting better and better. I wonder why...
    Moody_Cloud's avatar
Yeah, it's selling just fine before you try to imply it isn't.

Now the stock issues are well and truly over they can afford to do deals and sell those extra fre units to people sitting on the fence.

Good deal, but hopefully this is a sign of a updated version soon to be released which hopefully are much smaller,as the current ones are horrendous to look at and massive in size.

If I didn’t just buy 2 era 300s I would be tempted. Still holding out for the pro.
    junitrules's avatar
Nice, what are the eras like? Much better than the older versions?
  12. EDEN188's avatar
Confirmed by that BLC code working again for £20 off (disclaimer I haven't tried myself 😁). (edited)
    Shure's avatar
yep, looks to be working again although I don't see it listed any longer on BLC. For those that have tried in the past then it should still appear under their vault
  13. Djungelskog's avatar
Anyone know if this is still in stock? It says so on their website and I get through to the point of successful payment but then it says an error occured with an item in my basket
  14. robbiewin's avatar
    Good deal
    Djungelskog's avatar
Has this recently worked for you? Giving me an error when I try to buy it

It’s a shame BT doesn’t provide the option for additional warranty.

Anyone got a BLC code they can share?
  18. mark6220's avatar
That's a really good deal. Esp with the extra pad which you can sell at CEX. They pay a good price.

I'm having so much fun ploughing through the PS4 catalogue at the minute after getting a mint white pro for £150, I think it's envitable I'll end up getting a PS5.

No rush to upgrade so soon, but it'll be interesting to see if the rumours of a newer model bear fruit later in the year.
    junitrules's avatar
I've just got the ps3 back out to see if it's worth getting a PS5...!

For people hoping these deals are something todo with making ways for a new revision. It most likely isn't, there is a crap ton of ragnarok bundles at retailers and they are just clearing those.

3 years old and still a rip off

It's not though is it, build a pc with the same spec and let me know how much you spent

Has anyone else had problems getting this delivered? Parcelforce just delivered my console in "package 1 of 2" but the driver said package 2 of 2 with the controller was missing... Never used BT shop before so not sure if they handle deliveries weirdly.
    GeoLama's avatar
I've checked with BT and they said this would most probably be sent as 2 packages due to different weights.

In terms of the 2nd package which hasn't arrived, best thing would be for you to contact BT as soon as possible and report it, they should be able to assist you.. hope this helps

I'll probably be buying this as well, so had to check with BT first to save myself from the disappointment of a lost/stolen package..

On another note, what version of PS5 did they send you? Did you receive the CFI-1200A? They said to me most probably they have the latest one in stock, but could also be a leftover from the previous versions as well
