- Can you get this as already EE customer upgrade?Ive just rang retentions, for existing customer the deals were shocking 20Gb for £15pcm over 24m.
When saying i was at the point of checkout on the EE/BT website for this deal they said its unlikely that this deal exists and certainly not possible to keep the same number.
My best advice would be to obtain a PAC code from EE, port your number out to a 1p PAyg SIM that isnt an EE carrier, sign up for this deal then port the number the number back to this new EE SIM only deal.
When i queried this with EE they said this was possible but the porting process out and in isnt quick. Bit of a faff to get a cheap deal but if thats what we have to do these days for a loyal customer of 20 years then i suppose thats what we have to do. - Just to be clear, this is a 50GB plan, and the additional 50GB making the plan 100GB is for 6 months, reverting the plan to 50GB data after the initial 6 Months, for the remainder 18 months of the contract?AuthorNo.
You get additional 50GB data for 24m.
So 100GB data for 24months.
Thanks - For anyone who likes EE network have a look at 1p mobile. It’s classed as a PAYG but you auto top up each month so no hassle.
- cancel anytime
- uncapped 5G speeds (I have tested to confirm)
- Wi-Fi calling
- VOLTE
- EU Roaming
Only difference is it says 1p mobile at the top, no fancy app and don’t get visual voicemail - just standard voicemail
i pay £15 a month for 50gb data, unlimited mins and texts but other options are there!1p Mobile have been given the go ahead to offer eSims from this summer too! I have 1p for data at the moment, as a second line, as 02 is patchy where I live.
Great service! Highly recommend them xoxo - where do you input the student code mate ?Right there. If the code doesn't work then use Chrome incognito Mode. (edited)
- Just to confirm that the Roam Abroad pass has increased from £10 per month to £15 per month. Am sure this 50% price rise will be blamed on inflation!
- Is there a workaround to keep your same EE number?I'm in the same situation. Port out and port back is the only way I think.
- Standard request for student code incoming Pleasewait for an hour I will send you one
- Through USwitch you can get a Three Sim with 100GB of data for the equivalent of £ 6 pm for 12 months at the moment, I had been with EE for years and moved to Three last year, in the city and my home the signal is better; I'm very impressed by their 5G coverage and speeds I regularly get 350MBPS when in my local village and city centre. I think 24 months should be much cheaper and have no speed cap especially since you're signing your life away for two years; I'm struggling to see where the deals are with EE as they've not been very competitive since the BT takeover, I'm actually thinking of moving to ID mobile simply because they offer to roam too which is something EE don't give you unless you're on their all-rounder plan and you have to compromise and select it as a bolt-on.
I've always paid extra to stay with EE over the other networks, but I honestly don't think their price premium makes up for their network although their customer service has been solid, though I can say the same for Three who has been flawless.Do you have a link to the three sim please? Unable to see it on uswitch - Does anyone know what operator I can go with on pay-as-you-go to port my number out of EE and then take it back into this new contract? As long as it’s not EE, anyone else should work
- You always have to PAC code to a different network and back, EE do not allow PAC code on same network unless they upgrade you.
- Be aware EE doesn’t include roaming in your standard allowance, it’s £2 per day or £10 for a month bundle.
Sorry just seen this has already been mentioned (edited)£15 per month. - Could anyone confirm if they got this NOT being a BT customer?Just to confirm I have joined they haven’t asked for anything BT related, also uncapped speeds
- Right boys and girls - a little help if you please.
my contract ends in 10 days with EE. I was paying £29/month, although this went up to £33 with the April hike.
my daughter turns 11 in July and she’ll be getting her first phone and contract.
im just trying to work out the best way to do things to circumvent ee’s prices having got so expensive.
The iPhone im using will be fine for the daughter so I guess I’ll get a sim only deal for her. This one seems reasonable. The problem lies in what to do myself. Do I take out a contact as a new customer or add an additional line to my account and let my current one drop off? It’s all a bit confusing. Any help appreciated.Go via retentions and say that you are looking at options with all providers as you are getting an additional line as well as upgrading your current number, if you’re with BT then say that and see what they offer. If nothing comes back (likely) then shoot for one of these deals (probably 100 or 200gb) at the same go for the 20gb contract (or whatever is cheapest) for your daughter which should have a further discount applied as it is a second line. Any surplus data that you have can then be transferred/shared with your daughters sim if need be. - Also, anyone know the roam rates in Thailand and Vietnam? I'm going for a month and would love to use my phone without buying a sim of theirs. You get a better deal roam local SIM it's cheap
- Assume everyone will just bit the bullet and pay for a months roaming when they go abroad? Not too bad if you aren’t a frequent traveller. PS if anyone had a student code I would be very grateful.Sent
- Can we cancel the apple subscription after the free 6 months?Yes
- Anyone got a student code please?sent
- Hi,
Tried to order this one today but I can't find any where to enter the student code.
I went through to the page where they ask for sort code,..,.. (payment page) just before "credit check" and nowhere to enter the code.
Where should we enter the student code? any suggestions please?
madonaHi, it's on the very first page where it shows the extras.
Scroll down and you'll see it under the final extra... ''got a gift voucher?'' (edited) - Hi there.
Can someone send me a code please?
Thank you so much ;D (edited)Sent - It is necessary to be a BT broadband customer in order to get this deal?
Please let me know.
ThanksI wasn’t. They did ask but I’m hard of hearing so thought she said EE not BT. Accidentally said yea, so got the deal 🫣 (edited) - What happens if you order without having BT BB?Nothing, they don't verify
- If you are a BT customer then you are eligible for this NEW customer offer with EE, but it should be £13.50 (10% BT customer discount) less the additional student discount:-
As an existing EE customer you wont be able to get this deal online without porting. You will need to call and get lucky with an advisor - I tried 3 times on the phone to get a new deal and it was a total lottery. It was pressurised to get you to sign a new contract ASAP, spouting the fact that no one else can match EE. Two out of three of the SA's were awful - no interest in trying to help. I've been with EE since the Orange days of 1995 and loyalty now means squat - it's changed dramatically since I took out my last contract.
The CHAT function was far easier and allows you to send links to other deals and take copies of the quotes, so that they can't deny giving you that price. My requirements were a little different, as I was after a new iPhone 14 Pro and it took a few attempts on various days (as they change daily in retentions), but I got a 10% discount and double data as an existing BT broadband customer (they did ask for my BT account number). The offer I accepted was £10 a month for 250GB of data, but that took a bit of work. (edited)You accepted £10 a month for 250GB of data.
Surely that is sim only? That is ridiculously good. Any smart benefits? 😯 - Has anyone had success getting this without having BT Broadband? Once you get through to the EE site, I can't see anywhere asking for any details about the BT bit? This has come at just the right time for me as just finished my current O2 plan which has been awful for me. ThxSame question from me too...
- Managed to get double data after contacting them online. Current EE customer had previously got same deal posted here months ago 50GB data- BT customer discount+student discount currently paying £10.80 now have double data. Thanks OP and thankshotukdeals.com/sha…502 previous deal on here
- Finally took the plunge for the 100GB, worked out at £11.48 with student code. When I put code in it shows £12 a month. How did you get it for £11.48?
- Requested PAC, got a call and was offered £9 / 12 months / 15gb 5G Uncapped Speed (had to push for the latter) / Unl Texts+Min / EU Roaming. More than enough for us - we accepted. Is the EU roaming actually the Roam Abroad pass added to your account so you could use it the USA as well, or have they set it up as just EU roaming?

£11.48Lowest I can get is £12 with BLC code. What am I doing wrong? - DM if you need a codeMessaged
- You gonna be hating them in every April. I've bought mine 1.5 years ago at 16 pm and am now paying at 18 pm. Also, you can not cancel the contract without paying the termination fee even if the price increases.Same with all the big providers though, they are all equally greedy with the increases
- Guessing the price will go up ever year despite being in the 24 months contract with no chance of leaving or negotiating price?
- Just completed the deal over the phone 12£ for 100GB DATA.
No issues and they didn't ask me about being a BT customer. Happy days. Thanks for the deal mate.AuthorYou are welcome. 🏼 - DM me for a code
Edit... All gone now (edited) - If anybody has one of those golden ticket student codes spare, I'd much appreciate it!sent
- Please can someone DM me with a student code if possible? Thanks x
- I need a code please, much appreciatedsent
- Just got £200GB for £14.40/month. Wow, great deal. Cheers OP :-)
- Someone send me a code pleaseSent
- If you ring up you can get all rounder with 1 benefit for £13pmHow much data does that include? And did you ask for you PAC code (i.e. threaten to leave) to get it? (edited)
- I had a bit of ball ache with this deal. I'm a BT customer but also had a BT Friends and Family 30% discount code, I tried applying the 10% BT discount and the BT F&F 30% off and it wouldn't go though but they emailed me with my shopping basket and asked me to call. I called and they set up the deal but they wouldn't give me both discounts. SIM arrived and checked My EE app and the double data hadn't been applied... went on chat, they said they would add the x2 data if I provided them with my BT account number, which I did. Few days later I checked again and still no double data. Chat again, spoke to someone else a lot more helpful, he added the double data - I then asked about my F&F code, he said he can't apply it to the BT deal but he will do something for me cos of the balls up. I've now got 200GB 5G (No max mbps) unlimited mins and texts, 50p loyalty discount, £1 loyalty discount, WIFI pack, 20% MRC discount, BT EE Double data, Special EE 10% discount, paying £11. a month. Sometimes its worth complaining and being persistent.
