    I posted that one and the EliteBook is better in every regard, except for the CPU which benchmarks about 5-10% slower due to lack of SMT. The fact the ProBook is TN HD panel would be enough to dissuade me but it won’t bother everyone. Also the EliteBook sold out now, they do have the Ryzen 5 version but it’s £161.

    The ProBook is a good alternative especially if mostly desk based and/or with an external display attached. (edited)

    Looks like the l380 has the same but double check. This is cheaper while think pad hs touchscreen (edited)

    Am curious about the Windows 11 as I have two probooks with similar spec and Microsoft says they cannot be upodated from 10. More generally, they are solid units that are easy to fix with accessible parts. They perform well but you wouldn't want to lug one around too much. They're old and heavy but can still manage a tune, a bit like myself really.
