Vegans catered for, but no burger chain does gluten free, though, even though it’s a growing issue.

While I'm assuming you're looking for something more burger-esque, JSYK and for anyone else wondering if they'll be able to eat in McDonalds...

On the McDonalds website there's an easy to use Allergen PDF booklet.

The veggie dippers (the burger-alterative from the Vegetable Deluxe and The Spicy Veggie One wrap) should be suitable for most people, as they're vegan and don't have any of the common allergens listed.

The fries (and hash browns), and Tomato Ketchup dips are likewise vegan and don't explicitly contain the usual suspects for allergens. BBQ (but not Smokey BBQ) and Sweet Curry are vegan and don't have gluten ingredients but have celery and/or mustard.

Ridiculous that the side salad isn't vegan or gluten free!

That said, anyone with a serious allergy may want to dodge-roll MaccyD's anyway, due to the risk of cross-contamination.

They never look like the pictures, usually it's a sad deflated mess with gob on it.

You can probably ask for them to do so, it's just that most people prefer speed. There was a guy that made a video about making it look like the pic in the advertisement and they did seem to deliver, this was a long time ago though.

Now that they sell a double mcplant, I wonder if it will let you customise the burger and make this a double. Probably won't.

As someone that enjoys vegetarian food the McPlant is awful.

It's basically a patty with no chew, that faintly tastes of the grill it's been cooked on, and I really can't understand why they are still pushing this. A Linda McCartney veggie type burger would be way better but I guess they're trying to convert the carnivores (& I can imagine anyone that eats a lot of meat spitting this out)

Not to mention that most vegetarians wouldnt step foot in mcdonalds to begin with. Just a way of them conforming with all the healthy eating option laws whilst still pumping out the normal stuff
