See how we've maximised viewing realism with our OLED panel, powered by the revolutionary Cognitive Processor XR™ - it's sound and vision in perfect harmony.

Enjoy breathtaking contrast on the 55A80J with pictures that feel deep, natural and real. Its revolutionary processor uses human perspective analysis to cross analyse and optimise hundreds of thousands of elements in the blink of an eye. Sound perfectly matches the action on-screen with Acoustic Surface Audio + technology resulting in an audio experience that matches how we sense the world.…

Google TV has access to over 5000 apps, more than any other smart platform, providing the ultimate smart TV experience.

Our minimalist One Slate design embraces the screen in a single pane of glass that's naturally elegant and keeps you focused on the picture. This OLED TV looks and sounds beautiful, whether on a stand or mounted on a wall.

The A80J comes with a versatile three-way stand, which allows the TV to be setup in low profile, raised (to accommodate a sound bar without obscuring the screen) or central, to fit even on smaller TV furniture.

If I have a ps5 is this the better tv to have or the LG C1/2/3?

No expert, but seen in other threads that the LG is better for gaming. But I personally prefer Sony products.

50004744-wystE.jpgI ordered this online last Thursday 13 April. Great picture. Love the beefy sound (3 speakers behind the actual screen, 3 x 10w). No need for a soundbar. It has the Google operating system so I could finally get the BT Sport app. No need to use a firestick anymore like I did with my old LG Smart TV (LG operating system didn't have BT Sport). Seamless setup for Freesat via my dish (173 channels found). TV also has freeview. I wanted to pay via American Express to get 10% cashback but website wouldn't let me. I called Marks Electrical & the guy said they had a tech issue. He emailed me a payment link to pay via Amex. (so couldn't see if TopCashBack's 3% would work). I paid via the link ipg-online.com & arranged delivery for last Saturday (2 days later). I could have also picked Sunday or Mon-Fri. Late Friday evening they gave me a delivery slot of between noon & 2pm on Sat but they came 3:45pm. They have their own delivery vans & two guys helped bring the tv in. They were friendly & said they had been held up as they had to fit a massive American fridge/freezer earlier & take away the old American fridge which took them time. The tv was brand new. Marks Electrical emailed me the sales receipt & I also rec'd the 5 year warranty a few days later from Sony via email. The warranty is transferrable if you sell the tv on which is good. Some warranties (e.g new bicycles) are only for the original buyer.
Overall I'm satisfied with my buying experience from Marks Electrical. First time I've used them. Amex cashback can take up to 90 days (another £90 off, yeah! So could end up costing £810). The two feet are a bit long for me. I have it on a sideboard & want it close to the wall. Feet are 33cm long so it's about 16cm from the wall. Don't want the hassle of hanging it on a hollow wall (new build). Maybe it I saw off some of the feet? Could still be stable enough? Hmmmmmm. Oh, on the back of the tv it says it was made 12/2022.

Update: I sawed about 10cm off the rear feet so now just 4cm from the wall. Much better. It's still stable when standing. Manual says leave 6cm gap from wall when standing but leave just 2cm gap when hanging (!)

Tempted, but not keen on Marks electrical charging for returning faulty or damaged items and are these brand new TVs or returns?
The warranty is five years parts and labour!?
Anyone on here had dealings with this company?
Just read some of customers reviews on Facebook which are pretty poor in relation to damaged/faulty goods and returns.
Even items being delivered damaged quite badly judging by customers pictures 😞😞 (edited)

Wouldn't that be breaking the law under the 14 day long distance regulations or whatever its called? Obviously i'm no lawyer, thankfully (edited)

Got my TV off Facebook marketplace, there are a few 65'' for around £500, bargains!

As in the 65" version of this TV or just any random 65" TV?

Is £898 that good? The C1 has been £749 recently. Some paid less than that. This has been lower at Costco before.

    Cheaper here.
