12 months as oppose to other 24m deal.
As quite a few commented that they would rather not tied up for 24 months, here is 12 months deal.

If you don't have student code - it will be £10.80pm.
It says you need to have BT broadband to get this deal (most people commented to get one without it anyway)
Usual extras free for 6 months, I.e. Apple music ect

I'm in Éire so have no use for a code so:

    20% student discount

    * = 5+1

Seems you can claim a code once an hour so happy to post another if it's of any use.

In case this helps anyone, I was on an existing EE contract, but wanted to get the EE sim only deal via EE.

I got my PAC code to temporarily switch to a PAYG sim on a different network so a I could switch back to EE again.

EE retentions managed to beat the BT £10.80 deal and offered me the same 20GB for £9.90 - but crucially they also threw in free roaming, which was well worth it for me.

Quick question - I'm about to do this too. How did you get put through to retentions? Did you request PAC and they then just called you?

Also, how did you get the convo with retentions directed towards them beating the BT £10.80 deal? "I can see there's one deal that might get me to stay, can you do better?"... something like that?

    Thanks so much!

Looks like the 20GB deal does have capped speeds. Your description is different to mine on the 100GB deal.

    24m
    SIM 50GB £15 24m 5G
Your EE SIM plan gives you 50GB of data, plus unlimited texts and calls to use in the UK. And if you have a 5G ready device you also get our fastest 5G speeds. Fair use policy applies.

Mine says fastest 5G speeds... (edited)

It'll revert to the full price of £12 pm (+ next years inflation uplift), and you'll continue on a rolling contract

FYI anyone who is already with EE and can’t afford to loose service while porting in and out… I called them quoting this deal and they offered me 20gb with roaming for £12pm on a 12 month contract (not a student or with BT). (edited)

Good to see this includes stay connected which EE offer on most plans, this means if you use up all your data you can still stay connected albeit at 0.5mbps so still browse,WhatsApp, email etc.

Thanks for this @sajidtg we signed up for this (not a BT customer) but our existing EE customer. They messaged to say call them, we thought they were going to reject us but offered to upgrade us on the same deal! Saved us porting the number out and back in again. What a result

I’ve seen they have different speeds - Is this full speed? Does this include European roaming?

No EU roaming. Speed.... I get mine this week will report back.

Email says nothing about capped speeds. Still 100 Meg is plenty fast?

So I'm currently an EE customer. Wanted to cancel my current contract, use the PAC code for an ASDA SIM the port back in with this deal. But I'm finding it impossible to order this. When I checkout I get the option to login to my current account, but if I do then I lose the deal and it gets removed from my basket. But if I don't login and just use my regular account details then I get to the stage after the credit check where it asks for your credit card number but then I get a '405 error'. Anyone able to help?

It might be worth trying to register to create an new EE account instead of signing into your existing one

I have a technical/annoying question about PACs and hoping someone can help: I ordered an EE pay monthly sim yesterday before seeing this deal and included my current provider's PAC code to transfer my number. The new sim hasn't dispatched yet and I'd prefer this deal, so I called EE today to cancel yesterday's order. They've told me that I'll have to wait for the sim to arrive, activate it and then cancel within 14 days.

That's all fine but I'm worried about the PAC details I've given to EE as I don't want my current number to get lost in the shuffle - i.e. I activate the sim, they port the number and the number goes bye bye when I cancel it.

Does anyone know if the PAC process will be triggered with the sim's activation or is some manual step (by me) needed? Thanks.

Edit: Found someone at EE who could answer this question. Orders cannot be cancelled between being placed and the dispatch of the sim, but the PAC won't kick in unless I put the sim into my phone. I just need to wait to cancel (and not do anything with the sim). (edited)

Just as an FYI. Virgin media moved my wife to O2 as part of a package upgrade. When in fact they cancelled the virgin contract and created a new O2 contract. They didn't port the number automatically so then one day my wife's phone stopped working.
Called up O2, and they were able to retrieve the lost number and port it over to O2 and send out a new SIM card.
So not all is lost if the port does happen (edited)

Personally I was happy to leave EE behind - hideous connection in my town in Berkshire. Spoke to a few cabbies who also confirmed they'd had problems with EE in and around far west London too.

SIM arrived and all looks good, very fast postal delivery as had it delivered by the time I got home from holiday and just in time as spent all my data doing hotspot for the kids... Just had to set spend cap and that's it.

Was paying monthly £10 for 10GB from 1pmobile (EE), now paying £9.60 per month for 20GB from EE directly. (edited)

Has anybody managed to get the SIM delivered/activated when not an existing EE Broadband customer? When I placed the order I received the message below:

We need to confirm some details
We’ll call you within the next 48 hours to discuss your order.

Did anybody get the above message?

Also not a bt account holder, but I managed to get the deal online anyways. Give EE customer services a ring with your order number. Happened to me a week ago, phoned them and the advisor said it might have gotten lost in the mail. She proceeded to send me a new sim that got to me within a couple of days.

I was also an EE member but unfortunately(according to them) this is just for new members. Had to go through the long way of double porting my number in order to keep it.

If you are wanting any of these deals and are currently with EE and out of contract go into the app and request a pac code within 30 seconds they will call you and pretty much give you the same deal, now I have to cancel the Lebara I was about to use as a hopscotch to n from, bloody awesome service....I understand most of these deals have max 100mbs speed but never had above 80 where I live with full speed so all good.

i have 1 EE and 1 Vodafone , both are out of contract now

    vodafone 100GB and Roaming £23
    EE Unlimited and Roaming £70

(i can live without roaming and maybe 300GB+ on each)

with those prices, i really have to move to other new contracts

anyone saw any good deals from those networks recently?
if i'll wait a few more weeks, is there a chance they might be doing any huge SimOnly deals?
(can be with a phone too for a little bit extra)
