    Item number please?

Regarding the link not working, if you want to get the cashback you'll have to manually go through tcb anyway, select uSwitch then Lebara before purchasing, (tcb cashback is £9.35 for regular members) (edited)

I don't like this. I prefer using my landline

I was going to post a picture of an old phone and a comment to this, but I just realized my age because when I googled 'old phone' I got images of old mobile phones first. (edited)

Apologies for the issues with the links, this was a problem at our end but is now all fixed. We have bumped this again on new so that people can now access it

Switched to Lebarra a few months ago by going through MSE site and v pleased. Massive saving and no issues yet.🤞 usual text when arriving abroad. Better coverage in my home than my old BT one. Eady app to use too for managing account. So far, so good.

Got this 6 or so weeks ago - very good but be warned if you have a Pixel device as wifi calling (vowifi) is unsupported (although I believe there are a few extremely hacky ways to enable it).
    Onlydongles's avatar
Tell us more about the hacky ways please.

already with lebara, what's the cheapest opion to port out then port then port back in , plesase?

I don't recommend ASDA if it's for your primary phone.
I have ported to ASDA twice.
The first time I could not make or receive calls or texts for 3 weeks (ported from Lebara).
I recently tried again and I had the exact same problem for 2 weeks (ported from Lyca).
My number only started working again yesterday after I ported it to Lebara, but I missed several important calls and messages while it wasn't working.
To be fair a relative moved from Lebara > ASDA > Lebara a few weeks ago and she had no problems. (edited)

From anyone's experience, how much disruption and hassle is it to port out and back with an asda PAYG for example? Mines renews monthly, how long before my renewal should I target to do this? Lebara has been great but my 5gb data isn't cutting it for me and the internal deals aren't great...any help would be appreciated
  10. Soni210's avatar
wish they had introduced the esim as lyca

Hi all Im with Lebara since the really cheap deals around Christmas/ now I'm paying the normal £7.90 for 15 GB

Anyone have an experience/ success with haggling with their customer service to get the price down again( or do you basically need to leave and return?)
    Khairul's avatar
They don't do loyalty deals. You have to leave and return unfortunately. Go for Lyca as a one-month interim.
  12. quigley61's avatar
Is this for new customers only? I'm with Lebara atm on £6.90 a month.
    Hutchyy's avatar
You can port out and port back and therefore become a new customer
  13. weeZl's avatar
Been with Lebara now for a year. No issues.
  14. DNA's avatar
    Do they have eSIM?

Got one of the 99p for 3 month deals last year for 3 months and have been with Lebara ever sine. Works perfectly well and have had zero issues (apart from when Vodafone went down in my whole town for one day last week). Number ported quickly when I moved it over from O2

Is it possible to switch without the SIM swap for old accounts?
  22. Onlydongles's avatar
How much leeway before needs activation?
    suhel_uddin's avatar
It would be good to know if sim is activated straight away or can you order & activate a few weeks later. Already have 3 lebara sims in family, looking at a fourth one as 02 contract expires & they have said £9 pm for 12gb data or £6 pm for 1gb data
  23. rotherham's avatar
Could this be used in Turkey ??

I was going to ask the same question!

Got this a few days ago and have been trying it out. Good price for what you get. However, compared to EE the speeds are about 50% slower, at least in my area currently (Exeter/Plymouth).

For the vast majority contention/coverage matters more then peak bandwidth.

If you’re finding the bandwidth to be a bottleneck then fair enough. But even for streaming video you don’t require more than ~8Mbps (HD) to ~25Mbps (4K).

Damn I just changed the plan this morning to 15GB for £10 deal. What can I do? Can I cancel the plan change to this while already being a customer and keep my number?
    The_narrow_path's avatar
You got 14 days to cancel.
  26. Asimahmad's avatar
I changed to o2 recently and their network is horrific... has any found these guys to be decent?

I need a few sims from any provider for family coming to the UK from abroad for 2 weeks here.
They mainly need data and some call mins whilst in UK.
Can I order a few of these and cancel after a month?
Or is it better to buy a PAYG sim and top up?
    Zigzagged1490's avatar
Yes, you can cancel it after a month. I'm in a similar position
  31. coolstar's avatar
Quick question everyone. I switch between this and Lyca every 6 months. I'm half way through my Lyca 6 month offer but if I get this Lebara SIM 3 months in advance. Would it still be okay and work in 3.months time?
    morninbob's avatar
Yes, I've just done the same with a SIM that I bought at the beginning of April.
  32. adam.yacub's avatar
Can you activate this in like 2 months? Someone please help?
    The_narrow_path's avatar
    Should be 90 days max.
  33. dr.met.ty's avatar

No WiFi calling for Google Pixel, though. "Working on it" they say
  34. RobBryan-Smith's avatar
Thanks. In need of a new SIM. Super cheap!
  35. jddavis's avatar
Can anyone advise, if I'm working in Germany for 6 months at a time what's the best sim? Lebara or Lyra???
    RedXI's avatar
From personal experience living and working in Europe, I'd go with Lebara, but with these prices I'd now take one of each and do a comparison myself.
  36. robertfrancis1975's avatar
Hi all, anyone move from Vodafone to Lebara? This deal is so much cheaper than what i pay with Vodafone and its includes 5G, my Vodafone is a basic account with no 5G and its £10 a month, thanks
    suhel_uddin's avatar
Lebara use Vodafone network, have 4 sims with Lebara, never had any issues. Get 5g in areas where 5g is available
