Not a bad deal at all. I've been with them for a couple of months now and service has been good.

Just to let you guys know I had Community fibre install the 500mbps today. It went really well. The black fibre cable that runs from the telephone pole to your house may or may not bend but the thin white cable they run inside your house can bend and squirm around skirtingboards just as I required.

Also I got a modem, one router which basically is a WHW0301/AC2200 and works fine with the ones I bought from Amazon to create a mesh and the installer even gave me a network switch as he could see I had a lot of ethernet connections. So all in all the installation took about 1hr and the guys were super helpful and friendly. He even showed me how to setup the mesh.
Also the tested speed with only my phone connected on WiFi was 517mbps download and 545mbps upload.

interesting they gave you a different mesh router than me.

Perhaps it depends what speed connection you go for.

Just renewed with BT a few months ago.

Would anyone know if it's possible to have BT and add this on?

Community Fibre use their own network, not BTs lines, so you can have both at the same time if you want. You could also try getting out of contract, or at the very least get on a lower/cheaper package, by stating you're having financial difficulties and struggling for food, recently lost job, etc.

Great deal. I have them coming to install on Monday and the Community Fibre representative who came offered me 5 months free, but this is also a great deal with the voucher.

Same here, was up and running within 48 hours of first contact, luckily coincided with my old contract ending although I went for £20 for 150mb.

Just went with them. It's good so far, but worth noting that the fibre cable that they install in your house cannot bend round corners. So my router ended up in the front of my house rather than the back where all my electronics were plugged in using ethernet cables.

Try and find a local representative for your area as they can offer amazing deals. I managed to get 12 months free!

I have them coming in to install on Tuesday. I got 6 months off and the £23pm for 500mbps after that for the remaining 18 months.

It would really suck if the fibre can't bend at all. Am I right in saying you get a modem and a router?
Perhaps it's a case of Powerline adapters to the rescue? (edited)

They laid the fibre to right outside my house last year but I'm not able to sign up for it because their broken system says my house isn't available yet ...even though my immediate neighbour who I share the same junction box with has it

It's a bit weird for us as well, a neighbour 2 doors down has it and uses the same pole as us, where as we can't get it.
