Comes with Peacock as well which makes it a pretty decent deal.
    kpearsoncj1's avatar
    how do you get that?

I’d hold on until TNT Sport is launched on 18th July to see what they offer then- especially as Eurosport gets ditched and only some programming will be included on TNT

What do you mean Eurosport is ditched and only some programming? It’s carrying on exactly the same except a new name. The sports deal includes Eurosport. It’s never been that cheap. Got a feeling you’ll kick yourself. (edited)

    For clarity.

£10pm gets you: SD on BT TV via set top box and HD on the BT Sport app.

£10pm + £6pm HD supplement gets you: HD on BT TV via set top box and HD and UHD on BT Sport app.

HD is the basic tier on the app and effectively a tier above what you get on a set top box for £10pm. (edited)

    add broadband £30 a month too....so total £40 a month for 24 months...

Yeah, and electricity to turn on the TV!

Can’t imagine watching sport not in full HD.

People have watched non full HD sport for the last 1,000 years (edited)
  6. Taksim_Red's avatar
Just to add the £10pm DOES get you HD through the BT Sport app.

new 24m contract means you will be royally ripped off for you broadband alongside this

Correct me if I'm wrong - £10 SD, extra £6 a month for HD and I couldn't see any 4k option?

Edit: the HD package includes 4k but basic is less than 1080p as far as I can tell. (edited)

Well spotted, I wonder if colour is an added on option!

tv subscription channels are getting out of hand, this has to stop!

Cold. To get the deal you have to overpay for broadband.

Always best to phone BT to wangle a deal on the broadband first before adding any extra services. I recently renewed broadband for £19.99

Traditional tv broadcasting is such garbage, needs to die.
  12. Conkers816's avatar
With the amount of content you can stream now, a lot of it for free, it would be interesting to know how many people are moving away from paid packages like this.

We've gone the opposite way. We ditched our Sky package because most of it was rot that we never watched.
Now have Disney+ and Discovery+ plus MLB sub. We watch what we want, when we want.

I can't remember the last time I watched live TV other than Baseball.

I used to be an avid "TV licence should be kept", but frankly, having to pay a licence because I watch an American sport using an American stream and the fact that Discovery+ has a "live" service as part of the stream is absolute nonsense. I don't use the BBC or Channel 4.

Shame it's not BT sports through a sky card
  14. Gollywood's avatar
    TNT Sports...
  15. jdowner's avatar
Does that include Discovery + sport within the deal, it doesn’t say.

  17. fishLuke's avatar

  20. Dennis.Bell's avatar
Will this cause a new 24 month internet contract to be entered into?

    Well yeh obviously.
  21. Robert_Green's avatar
Do you need bt broadband to get the package or you can just get it on its own ?
  22. scottishpunter's avatar
So this is via additional BT tv box, and not available as add on to Sky?
  23. Ed.Winchester's avatar
Can't record on 4 channels simultaneous if you are not using an aerial tho, and you want it wired. WiFi issues = TV issues.
    ecraigy's avatar
    Use an aerial then.
Who really records 4 channels simultaneously nowadays?! It's all about using on demand...
  24. Mozerlator's avatar
I had BT TV with their Pro box in Feb this year, after 2 months sent it all back as the box is so slow compared to SKY.

Lets hope the Pro Box 2 is better
  25. ws007's avatar
can you get this if you've BT Home Essentials?
  26. Mumushka's avatar
What happens if I switch my BT Broadband whilst my BTTV is still under contract?
  27. Alphaman1's avatar
Can someone confirm that it doesn't broadcast in HD?
    mattbat's avatar
No HD unless you add the HD add-on to your package for another £6. BT have charged extra for HD for years and years unfortunately
  28. neilied's avatar
As mods deleted my deal as they couldn’t get their head around the offer. Virgin media stream. £25 up front and no monthly fee then can add subs rolling 30 day contracts. BT sport £8 sky sports £16
  29. SlimaB's avatar
Thanks. Ordered. Also BT will pay up to £300 early cancellation charges for you to move to them. Ask via chat.

They’ve covered the cost for me to move early.
    Taksim_Red's avatar
Sounds good. Any idea how soon they pay it?
  30. samheard_'s avatar
I'm reading mixed information about what channels I would be able to view on WiFi only... I don't have access to a traditional TV antenna so would need WiFi, but unclear if BT Sport works in this mode. Can anyone confirm?
    Danielle71's avatar
You get Eurosport (via discovery plus) no adverts and you get all the discovery channels that are ad supported ... Nothing to do with terrestrial channels unless you have their box..
