    Heated OP.
Off topic: O2 kept on rejecting my multisave text saying they can't trace the numbers I gave them even though both the contracts are in my name. Any idea anyone? Couldn't be bothered calling their customer service as yet. (edited)
    loopz's avatar
I messaged them twice (every time I switch) with the main number and the second and another text with them the other way around. One of them works

Can existing customers move to this tariff somehow?
    keefly's avatar
You haven't read any further than the subject line, have you?

I am unsure why O2 are saying they want to charge me £68 something to upgrade my SIM only plan to this SIM only plan?
Ive had 30gb plan for nearly a month but want this 60gb one instead.
    Purist's avatar
I think you can only “upgrade” between month 3-9 on 02?
  4. Afrim_Ramaj's avatar
Can someone explain what's with volt double the data. Thanks
    diddytitz's avatar
If you're with virgin media, you will get double mobile data and broadband data
  5. Roygroyg's avatar
    Thanks Op.

Just moved my wife's account on to this as she had the RPI increase so was not much less for half the data.

Confirm the extras offered on the £10 a month deal are 6 months - either Disney + or Amazon Prime plus some other weaker options.

Will wait until current Disney+ from my own renewal runs out later this month as found in past it seems to just lose the overlap.
  6. diddytitz's avatar
How do you add to sim cards to the basket? Will they bey £8 a month each with multisave
    keefly's avatar
    Buy twice.
  7. fleenio's avatar
It's a good deal but the O2 network signal is awful. I've just moved to Lebara and what a difference. (edited)
    Brabus_Duddy's avatar
I agree. Around the Manchester boroughs it is terrible! Data is 3G/4G most areas and very poor.

I moved to o2 in March on a deal like this and I’m on an iPhone 13. It’s honestly the most unbearable backwards service on the planet. If you’re on 3G, which is pretty much everywhere outside of cities in the North West, you get no internet connection. O2 blame Apple, Apple blame o2 because the 3G connection on modern iPhones doesn’t work apparently? Never had a problem with the same phone on EE
    AD77VK's avatar
You need to go back to the EE.
  9. Andrisan_Gabriel's avatar
O2 network signal is the worst in the uk
    ashleytroy1's avatar
    Try 3 in Suffolk.

Used to be with EE. Been with O2 for nearly a year. Used to be decent getting free weekly cinema tickets, but there’s nothing good about it now. Signal/mobile data is absolutely appalling nearly everywhere I go.
  11. davroduk's avatar
I'm on O2, and am counting the days until I can switch.
The signal around the North West is terrible, unless you are in a major town or city.
No signal at all in a lot of places, and then only 3g when you can get a signal.
    Immoraliste's avatar
It's abysmal anywhere there are lots of people. I now understand what everyone on all these o2 HUKD deal threads was talking about!

Been on Virgin Mobile for 10+ years. Was very good when they used T-Mobile / EE, and good when using Vodafone.

As soon as we've been shifted to o2, it's very poor. No data at all at my home train station. Very, very slow data (meaning 1-2 minutes to load a basic website homepage) at London terminals; around the West End basically unusable (apps will just say 'no connection to internet'), and very patchy in west London (can no longer make data voice or video calls at a place of business I've always done so before).

This is on the 4G/3G network. My phone doesn't have 5G.
  12. salako's avatar
Worse network coverage every. I am currently looking to move away from them.
  13. johnnyshuttle's avatar
Good deal but O2 4g is shocking in most areas I’ve visited.
  14. sheffield788's avatar
The title needs changing. It is £10PM and £8 with multisave. Voted hot!

    Done.
    Thanks

I switched to o2 from 3. Must say, 3 was not bad in comparison. I will go back to 3 after my contract.
    ashleytroy1's avatar
I don’t think you’ll get free EU roaming on 3 if you switch back though.
  16. Walshinho's avatar
Wasn't this posted last week (I picked it up from hot uk deals then)
    ashleytroy1's avatar
You’re right but there is now Quidco cash back too. I believe did last weeks.
  17. RomSco's avatar
Thanks OP, I just went for this as an existing customer and sailed through the process in a few minutes!
  18. shuggyboy24's avatar
Awful service with this O2 SIM for me despite saying it was good, also terrible at work. Going to end under the 14 day cooling off period.
  19. Ben-Brand's avatar
I highly advise against joining O2.

Honestly the worst experience I have ever had with a mobile provider. Awful service, I have lost my number, hours of my life and have been left without a solution, had to purchase a new Sim else where and have no access to my number.

    Check Trust Pilot reviews.
    valuehunter2021's avatar
been with O2 many times, no significant issues like this
  20. chamindassa's avatar
Don't buy O2, they are the worst provider in UK for coverage and data speeds are from 10 years ago. I switched over to them after seeing this deal but now I am trying to disconnect my contract and have been passed to 4 customer service staff so far for over an hour. Nightmare service altogether. Avoid like a plague 😔😡 (edited)
    diddytitz's avatar
There good where i stay. I even used my phone as a hotspot for my ps5 playing Call of Duty. When the broadband went down

    Great deal!
  23. samsmith66's avatar
Hot 🔥. It's been posted before. But this is the best deal if you need free EU roaming up to 25GB. Plus you get 6 months Disney plus if you go through USwitch, better than the cashback I think. (edited)
    manishpatel80's avatar
Plus you get USA, Canada and loads of other countries free roaming aswell if you have virgin media at hoem and get the volt benefits.
  24. Ummaya's avatar
I am trying to get this deal since Friday. I am unable to checkout. I tried everything, incognito mode, different browsers, PC, laptop, mobile - nothing works. I click on checkout and it just comes back to the basket. Does anyone have any idea how to get it?
    Ummaya's avatar
I even called them now, was put on 50 min hold and the call was dropped with no solution. Extremely disappointing service
  25. CalvinCrow's avatar
Would not reccomend o2. Several scam calls every other day its a joke (edited)
    keefly's avatar
    What's a jome?
  26. Jade49's avatar
If I'm already on 02 is it possible to get this and keep my number?
    tonyawesome69's avatar
Yes go through the process and select existing customer.
  27. Golfer95's avatar
I have two O2 numbers on my account direct with them both out of contract , they honoured this deal for both numbers and have text message through stating Volt will be through within the 14 days . WARNING -the phone call took nearly 50 minutes , they did deal very professionally though.
  28. forsh07's avatar
This is amazing, just signed up. Thanks op.

    I'm on £6.19 a month on 02 with 100gb data rollover
    diddytitz's avatar
    Where did you get that?
  30. il_capo's avatar
Anyone else struggling to go to the payment section of checkout? The page just loops when I try.
    daveoc's avatar
Same here. I've tried all sorts pc, phone, tablet, different browser, but keeps looping back when i try to checkout. Has anyone found a way around this?.
  31. custardtart's avatar
Anyone know if I can port a Lycamobile number to O2?
    grazie's avatar
Legally you can demand to keep your number when you move from any UK provider to any other UK provider. With Lycamobile
    portnumber.co.uk/tra…ile
  32. Nickakis's avatar
They play hardball on the support saying that this is already a discounted deal and no multisave can be applied here.
    Nickakis's avatar
The multisave doesn't apply with this offer, I have confirmed it with support. Please change the title.
  33. Jordan_Pearson's avatar
Wonder if anyone can help, for some reason I’m an existing customer but when I try upgrade to this even though mine is 20gb for now 9.74 it says I have to pay 35£ upgrade fee
    cp1's avatar
Have you got some time left on your current contract?
  34. grazie's avatar
    Cheers OP.

I had to call O2 because although I managed to get the plan into my shopping basket, the O2 site wouldn't allow me to checkout without first setting up a cap, but it provided impossible to do so via MyO2. Therefore I had to call O2 and it took them about half an hour for them to do this for me.
  35. valuehunter2021's avatar
where does it say 6 months Disney
    redduck's avatar
I don't recall seeing it during sign up (it might have been there) but I got the email afterwards to pick an add on and 6 months of Disney plus was the one I picked, this morning
  36. ipmanwck's avatar
I'm on talk mobile £10 for 100gb but last month reception has been awful on both my sims so going to give this a try.
  37. loopz's avatar
All the volt and 2 account discounts have gone through. Now getting 20gb for £2.99 on each SIM
  38. paulvandyk's avatar
Has anyone got a message saying this tariff doesn't qualify for multisave discount on the second line?
    compynei's avatar
Yes same. But can’t see why?
  39. samsmith66's avatar
Switching from EE to O2. Got a Virgin 30 day sim to check coverage. So far so good. EE charges awfully lot for EU roaming. With Virgin you can use all your data abroad, plus they roll over if unused. Next gonna switch from Virgin to O2 to this plan. 6 months Disney+ is worth it. (edited)
  40. sidinho's avatar
FYI - my contract with O2 was expiring and i wanted to move to Sim Only - i rang them up and they switched me to this deal, saved the faf of PAC codes etc. starts tomorrow
