I tried getting the May version of this.
They told me it’s a promotion from an affiliate site that they’re not responsible for so won’t offer it to existing subscribers.
I’ve been with them for 4+ years and have never paid less than £40 for the 1GB package which I’m currently on. Originally, they said because I’ve been loyal the best they would offer me is £47/m for 12 months. When I told them I’d like to cancel they called me the next day saying they would offer me £43 or £41 for 24 months but would be “willing to match another provider’s offer” if I found an equivalent deal elsewhere.
As with everything from banking to phone providers, they’ve no reason to try to be competitive to keep existing customers so absolutely no reason to be loyal.

Hyperoptic is one of the very few broadband providers with no inflation linked price increases mid contract using sneaky T&C like BT, Vodafone, talk talk or Virgin Media.
