I've been looking for a inexpensive printer that includes double-sided scanning as a feature, and the HP OfficeJet Pro 9000 series is on my shortlist. This printer normally retails for £189, so this offer from Printerland of £70 cashback makes this a real bargain - plus it comes with a free 6 month Instant Ink trial. Reviews are generally good:

    Avoid inkjet printers

Expensive to run, and inferior to laser in every way

Any good suggestions for an alternative that won’t cost a lot?

Cracking printer, have one myself for the last 12 months and is super quick, instant in has been a life saver with the single cartridges, if you know anyone as well with HP Instant ink they are offering an additional 3 months as well.

Does anyone know if buying directly from hp would be eligible for cash back as this is £169.99 but comes with 9 months instant ink and next day replacement warranty (3 year warranty)

once bought the cashback is direct from HP. You need to submit a claim and send a copy of the receipt and provide the serial number as part of the claim.

If I purchased this printer via amazon would it still qualify for the HP Cashback deal? I prefer Amazon for customer service reasons.

Here are the terms and conditions, see clause 2:

They do not mandate any specific retailers, but expect the item to be brand new. So buying a second hand one, even if it is just an open box unused return, or shop a floor demonstration model, will not qualify (edited)

The issue with the HP 9000 range for me is that they only have a 35 page adf. I have the 8720 which does everything this can do, but has a 50 page adf.

The "6 months Instant Ink free" offer states there is a monthly page limit but doesn't say what the limit is, anyone have any idea what the limit is ?
