Stylish surroundings
Aurora’s incredible atrium is the heart of the ship. Designed in a classic galleried style, it spans four decks and is home to a spectacular 35-foot sculpture by artist John Mills. For the best views on the ship, visit The Crow’s Nest cocktail bar and watch the world float by.

Just putting this out there (as even though it's mentioned on every P&O cruise thread, some still don't understand it).

P&O Ferries, who sacked their workers wrongly IS NOT the same as P&O cruises, who are owned by carnival. The only connection between the two is the name. (edited)

If I were the mrketing department I'd be straight changing that the morning after...

I thought Aurora was only for adults, surprised if they let you book with children

This is a cracking little ship, done the zeebrugge / Guernsey cruise last wk for the same price, it's great value at £188, we took coffee sticks and juice for the day and drank beer in the night, bottles of 330ml lager are £4.75, 500ml real ales are £4.95, draft Lager starts at £4.95 ( peroni) depending what bar you are in, the speciality restaurants are great value, the beach house is an extra £9.50 for a 3 course and sindu is around £11 for a main, lovely relaxed ship

Half decent beer prices compared with other cruise companies and you pay in Sterling

Or u can buy the soft drinks package for 7.95 a day and sneak your spirits in smaller bottle in bag

That’s a great deal! I’m being quoted £19.95 per person, per day for the soft drinks package. Did you get a special deal when on board?

Think it's the ship (activities/entertainment). The other one, P&O Ventura is described as "family friendly", whereas this one is described as "intimate" (edited)

Went on Aurora last week. Really enjoyed it, good selection of bars and decent food. Especially in the service restaurant. Defo recommend for this price. Doesn’t include drinks but prices are similar to pubs £5ish a pint.

I spotted this on Arvia... Certainly not a Hotukdeals tipple Although, strangely the single measure was more expensive per ml than the sample or double measure... I've been on this site far too long!

You can also bring up to 1l of alcohol per person that you can drink in your cabin. Doing that before diner while you are getting ready instead of going to a bar can really save some money. I've stocked up in Aldi last night for my trip. (edited)

Im amazed on how many of us here were on the zeebrugge / Guernsey trip

+1 on this deal it is a great ship, We had no complaints for the whole trip.

Stayed on F Deck, Slightly noisy in the morning with anchor drops or docking but no Biggy.

One thing I would recommend is use the regular hand wash facilities all over the ship as cruises are a breeding ground for the illnesses.

Havnt been on P&O since start of Pandemic. Are black tie nights still part of the itinerary or a bit of a novelty now ?.. Went on a Princess cruise last year only to find out that Americans dont do "dressing up". Shouldnt have bothered to cart my Tux along.
    hurk87's avatar
I went on a P&O cruise earlier in the year and pretty much everyone dressed up. But on Royal Caribbean a few years back I too noticed that Americans didn't like dressing up at all

Can my parents who are on a visiter visa book for this even if they have only a UK visit visa and NOT a Schengen visa? Thanks.
    Faiz_Osman's avatar
No because they dnt have visa for Amsterdam
  13. chezza45's avatar
How long do you get to stay in Amsterdam?
    ElGofre's avatar
It's an overnight stay with an early morning departure on the second day. (edited)
  14. UserH's avatar
Could someone please explain how this works? Once we dock at Amsterdam, can we still remain on the ship or do we have to make our own arrangements whilst in Amsterdam?

First time looking to book a cruise... Cheers

Quick one do you still need to be upto date on Covid vaccines to cruise?
    Jenburge23's avatar
Their policy says vaccination and testing is no longer required..x
