£30 more (plus delivery) gets you a 6650 XT which is around 15-20% better performance.

Yea, that's not bad if you dont mind stretching slightly. Basically like going from 2070 performance to 2080 performance for £30.

The PC market is in a tail-spin- prices are going to crash this year- GPUs have been massively over-inflated for years now, and at all but the very high end this is about to reverse.

VRAM has never been cheaper, yet is collapsing in price- like flash. New 8GB cards (when VRAM was much more expensive) like the 8GB 580 have sold new in the UK at 130 (years ago). This 6600 (while vastly better value than anything Ngreedia currently sells) is anything but cheap. And by 2023 standards, it isn't even a future proof 1080P card.

For heaven's sake, wait til the end of May when AMD and Nvidia are forced to release their unsellable 128-bit 8GB cards- the impact will be immediate price cuts of just about every 'affordable' GPU.

This is precisely what I'm doing; there is also no chance I will get an 8 GB card.

I would expect an XT at this price.

These should be around £200 or under if the 6650XT is around £250 as that card is a lot faster. (edited)

ASROCK version from TechNextDay is still 207£ and there was a deal recently for one that dropped to £198

Finally people can start building cheap gaming PCs. How it should be.

Cheaper Powercolor option @ ebuyer or AsRock option @ Technextday (use code TND-10 for the latter).
    Can't vote this hot sorry.
As also said above consider the 6650XT too

This is expensive with the RX 7600 due out soon.
