Does anyone know if the 3 years Xbox Gold, then paying for month of Game Pass Ultimate still works? Mines set to expire in about 5 days

Yes, it does. Did it recently for my nephew.

Yet another poor, poor month. They are getting complacent.

Agree fully and I say this as an Xbox fan and have all consoles. Quality will always win over quantity and my general feeling is that Microsoft can't compete (at this time quality wise) with Sony or Nintendo. It sickens me mainly as an og xbox/360 fan the franchises they had and have & lost their way with. Microsoft seen this coming and new they needed something else e.g. Gamepass. Releasing a console with no exclusives was the main signal at the beginning but to offer a value option 'GP' which i know people love but for the most powerful console in the world 'microsofts boast' its not good enough.

Phil's comment around great games not fixing the issue I understand but it would bring back faith in the xbox brand.

Before someone says Gamepass is mega popular and all that nonsense 'its popular due to the amount of games on it... doesn't mean their quality. GP is looking like the wii shop more and more these days.

With the current state of Xbox, skimping yet another month with these missable no-name games is the last thing they should be doing. Only win here is Planet of Lana.

No name games??? Not that it's for me personally but the FIFA franchise is probably one of the biggest earners on consoles.
Just cos it's not for you. Can't please everyone.
Why you always hating on Xbox? (edited)

How on earth will you ever survive on the 100s of other games in the library

from previous years, they tend to hold some back for the June showcase...so maybe a few surprises on the day

Hoorah more toilet this month on gamepass

Xbox did what Uber, etc, did; offer great value, initially, but then decrease the value offered once most people have become “hooked”

Demo for Planet of Lana was great, looking forward to that. Chicory and Casette Beasts meant to be great. Pretty good offering here.

I'm really looking forward to it!
Edge has given it 9/10 already

Xbox diehard fans keep saying gp gives them to try games they would never try or buy. And M$ duly noted and keeps giving out unknown indie games most of the year.
    Illusionary's avatar
Indie games, perhaps, but unknowns, definitely not. (edited)

3 or 4 games here for me, lovely stuff

So this year's sub (and maybe some of last and next as well) is all for Starfield (and a few day's on Hifi Rush) - £45 for Zelda isnt looking too bad in comparison. Luckily Rewards gets £12+ a month in shopping vouchers so at least Cloud gaming makes having the sub worthwhile.
  15. ChristopherDias's avatar
Not a great month, but then again gamepass has been stacked recently hifi rush, aoe 2, guilty gear, blazblu, ni no kuni, persona, pentiment, high on life, fuga 2 don't have time to play everything lol (edited)

I've played a lot of titles over the last year but I've cancelled my subscription after Redfall was rushed to launch. Exoprime is the next big title on the coming soon and I'm not convinced. I'll go back to PS now that I've played through bulk of titles I'm interested in

What happened to the "wow" gamepass reveals we used to get. I havent been excited about any games being added to GP for a very long time.

In MY opinion. There may be good indie games for you but none that have taken my fancy (edited)

Looking forward to playing Cassette Beasts. Just finished Chicory: A Colourful Tale on PS++ and it was a truly charming and lovely experience

Does anyone know if Cassette Beasts is cross save?

Is NBA 2k23 due to appear soon?

    I'm thinking yes based on:

    A) end of season coming up fast
    B) appeared in April last year, March previous year
    C) Sale just ended on regular editions, Sale just started on Digital edition

Anyone with better knowledge know for sure?
  21. valter.cardoso's avatar
I know it’s not related to the subject, but does anyone know how to claim these? It just show up today on the bing app on my phone

You click on the different news articles. In the News tab at the bottom of your screen shot. If it has just been implemented in your country they might not track properly yet as MS Rewards are flaky at the best of times. (edited)

Planet of Lana and Chicory look interesting, but on the whole a pretty underwhelming list. It really need a couple of bigger names in there as well.

I wish they added more games like Ori or Tomb Raider. Fifa 23 was a massive disappointment for me so back to playing 22.
