Hey any deals for the 512GB version?

Any idea if it's lot better then the oppo find X2 pro? Thanks

I'm not so sure that it's a huge leap over the X2 Pro.

Oppo went backwards especially with regards to the optical zoom lens after the X2 Pro.
X2 Pro has a 5x optical zoom with OIS whereas X5 Pro only has 2x optical zoom and no OIS on the telephoto lens.

The X2 Pro was also default 512GB storage.

I've seen X2 Pro v X5 pro side by side and not seen any difference in the screen quality.

The SD 8gen1 CPU is obviously a major advance over the classic SD 865 CPU however, in reality the 8gen1 gets much hotter and hence throttled back whereas the 865 experiences very little throttling due to running fairly cool.

No expense was spared with the X2 Pro whereas corners were cut when it came to the X5 Pro. (edited)

I know about the quick charge, but can anyone say what sort of screen on time this can deliver please? That’s what made me sell the X2 Pro

If you need more screen time, turn on power saving mode, which will give you an easy 6-7 hours screen on time

I really like fast charging, 50% in 15 minutes, and have 65w charger in car too, very quick to top up on the go (edited)

Bought the white one last week on the Laptopoutletdirect / eBay deal £445 inc postage pristine/used was just an return/opened box not a mark. Got the wireless charger from Oppo as well with friend referral for £18. Great phone.

Still one of the best Android phones on the market today and for a great price. If condition doesn't match up to B just return ♨️

I am very happy with x5 pro, missed wireless charging on x2 pro, storage not issue with 256gb and after 13 update phone runs better and cooler, stabilization is great on x5 pro too.., really great value phone..

Should I upgrade from my p20 pro , I was looking at the mate 20 pro at half the price and not too shabby specs for a 4 year old handset
    Professor_Chaos's avatar
P20 Pro and Mate 20 Pro are both fairly old now. This Oppo is a worthy upgrade I think as its a newer phone.

I really enjoy x5 pro, came from p30, and x5 pro just had 13.1 update
