I have had this deal over a year. I can not fault it

i think this deal works for existing customers too, not too sure of the first 3 months savings but the actual price after that shows up in my account and could be purchased. i have not found something like this for existing users since i got my u-switch exclusive for existing customer last year (a fiver for 5gb data)

Have a look at this link for various combinations, for example
    5gb £4.95.
    12gb £6.90
    21gb £7.95

If you want you can manually purchase for an existing SIM before it naturally renews and you keep any unused data, what I do is buy the 30 day plan, leave it set to auto renew and on the morning of the day it's due to renew they send an email advising it will renew at 9pm,at that point I renew it, the remaining data in effect rolls over so I've got plenty available for a holiday/weekend away etc, alternatively you could just turn off auto renew and set your calendar.
Another advantage is if you've got plenty of data saved up you could select to pay slightly less for a period. (edited)

Can you use your full data allowance when abroad?
    Bigwheeler's avatar
Also when you are abroad you have no inclusive texts and 100 roaming minutes.

I got this a month ago but with 6 month offer. Using it on holiday in the EU. It's a good deal. (edited)

Should really put the full price it changes to after the introductory offers.

I'm on 21gb for £6.90 deal and got 60% off for first 6 months.

    Wooow...
How did you get this? The closer I can see it is 7.90.

Just a heads up for anybody thinking of using Asda to do a sim swap.

I called into our local store to get a 50p sim none in stock asked at customer service they said they'd stopped having them and you have to buy a bundle, which will add to the cost.

    Heat added! Seems to be:
    1) a good alternative to Plusmobile that is going to stop working soon.
    2) a good roaming sim card (much cheaper than roaming plans on three mobile)

Does anyone know the limitations of this? If you cancel after a month, do you still get the cashback? Or do you need to keep going, perhaps into the full-priced months, to get the cashback?
    jujuzeez's avatar
i think your cashback should track and be rewarded before 90 days. dunno the nitty gritty of quidco methodologies tho
  10. Mr.Plow's avatar
You can get the same deals with the same £12 cashback, uswitch through tcb if you prefer, I haven't had a look in the tcb t&cs it might say how long you have to wait.

Any 6 months deals with lebara?
    jujuzeez's avatar
    no
  13. HaroonAhmad's avatar
Is it possible to switch from 5gb to 10gb.. i got the sim from last offer.
    Darvel's avatar
Not 100%. From what I've been told before is that you need to PaC to another provider, then you pac over to lebara as a new customer for any new offers.

    Doesnt work with mobile routers
    jujuzeez's avatar
doesn't make sense if you're not on the unlimited plan and will still be throttled by the operator
  15. adrianooo's avatar
What's the easiest way to cancel the auto renewal? Thanks
    jujuzeez's avatar
just stop paying or remove your payment details in their app

Is there a way of getting a sim for me and 2 kids on this deal under one account?
    Mr.Plow's avatar
You can add up to four Sims on the same account, just purchase the deal whilst logged in, this worked fine for me on the mse 6months deals, would assume you could do the same for this for the three months lower rate but I'd guess you might have an issue with the cashback tracking as it's supposed to be for "new" customers so same account might jeopardize the cashback.

Just wondering if anyone had problems with porting of their current number to Lebara? I've just done it the second time and again the one time passes don't arrive.

The first time they blamed it on the previous operator and it never got fixed. So I ported to giffgaff PAYG to check if that solves the problem and... magic! Suddenly OTP worked.

So I switched back to Lebara now and I'am having the same issue again. Now the CS feed me the same lines about having to wait 24/48hrs for it to get fixed and that some files have to still be transferred from the previous operator for this facility to work.

I'm quite sceptical about this, I'm pretty sure that's what they were saying the last time... (edited)

Will I be able to use access all my data for free even if I'm in Germany for 6 months at a time?? I will obviously activate in UK

Can you cancel after 3 months and still get the cashback? Does it simply go straight into your bank account? How does it work?
  21. Gemz's avatar
can I use any free sim to port out my current Lebara number and then port in to this new one?
    jujuzeez's avatar
u can port directly from lebara to this. u dont need another sim.

i ported from lyca to lebara last year, i think i will be porting back to lyca bcos of they're now on EE
