Anyone know what would happen in my situation - my current 12 month mobiles co uk Vodafone contract ends on 19 April 2024, should I wait until first week of April to sign up to this or can do it now?
Will that have same effect on my next RPI linked increase e.g if I do it after April 1st my increase won't apply until 2026 instead of 2025? Also for upgrades, will they require another hard credit check?

Do it when you have to apply for the last cashback; which would be month 12. You'll get refunded and such, this is what happened for me last year.

We don't know anything about the April 2025 increase otherwise. (edited)

How long does it take for the cashback cheque to come through the letterbox? I'm still waiting on my 1st Feb cheque to come through, is that normal?

    Mine took about 6 weeks

no roaming included afaik, bear in mind. Otherwise seems like a good deal, given the coverage is good in your area...

Cheaper than the same spec Black Friday deal I took out!

Or just switch to talkmobile (Vodafone network)who do unlimited data and minutes and texts for £16 a month on rolling 30 day contract and no price increases. Plust £17 back through top cashback (edited)

They dont honour cashback deals, ordered broadband and just had it cancelled because they claim i left, got another 20 months with the sharks

I wouldn't bother with manual cash back deals 18 and 24 months due to own forgetfulness/lazy, but think I can manage 12 months.

So this only for Vodafone customers coming to the end of their current plan?

I'm with Vodafone via mobiles.co.uk but plan ends in Aug 24

Just FYI, this works even if your current contract was through another retailer.

Wouldn't this offer qualify for the "up to £16" contract on TCB? And that's £30 back for Premium members...

While I upgrade through mobiles.co.uk / e2save over the past few years...

I had an email from vodafone about their offers (since im quite near to upgrade) and this same 200GB plan advertising it as 5G Ultra. I'm guessing it's just marketing, 5G on mobiles.co.uk and 5G Ultra on voda themselves?

Just received my first £15.60 cash back cheque from the Black Friday offer. Weird they use cheques but hey it’s all gravy.

I've been looking at the 120GB option for £6 less a year - can't see myself using anywhere near that, let alone 200GB.

    Where is that deal please

This sim doesn't show the unlimited 5g sign where they don't throttle the speeds like the other sim only deals do
    aznazeep's avatar
Vodafone apparently don’t throttle their 5G speeds like EE do (according to their website anyway!)

From what I’ve seen, the little unlimited 5G symbol is for plans with unlimited data usage (i.e. no monthly Gb limit) rather than indicating a speed limit. (edited)

Is this a normal Vodafone plan or the basics one where restricted on how use?
