  • THE ORIGINAL X.O: In 1870, Maurice Hennessy, asked the Master Blender to create a special Cognac, using long-aged eaux-de-vie, They called it “X.O” for “Extra Old” and a legend was born
  • ON THE PALATE: Powerful and Balance; The structure of Hennessy X.O carries the promise of an extremely long finish, with each drop an invitation to embark on a journey of the senses through seven tasting notes
  • ON THE NOSE: Scents of candied fruit combine with a subtle, lightly spicy nose, giving X.O its unmistakable aroma
  • ON THE EYES: A deep and intense amber with glimpses of mahogany, X.O is notably darker than the rest of our collection

Since 1765 Hennessy has been associated with excellence and mystery. Behind its closely guarded doors, the Hennessy Comité de Désgustation - unparalleled in the world of cognac - creates some of the most unique and elegant blends, thanks to its priceless heritage: the largest and most diverse reserve of eaux-de-vie in the world.

  • ENJOY RESPONSIBLY
  • OVER 18s ONLY

Hennessy X.O (“Extra Old”) is the original X.O, starting the category in 1870. Blended using long aged eaux-de-vies, it was initially blended for the Maison’s family and friends and now celebrates 150 years. Smooth yet complex, delicate but strong, bold yet subtle. Each drop of Hennessy X.O opens a new door to hidden facets of intensity and sophistication. With eaux-de-vie carefully selected and aged for a long time, the result is a cognac that is bold, rich and undeniably rare.

  • Each drop of Hennessy X.O reveals a unique and personal odyssey with a long finish, indicative of an extraordinary cognac.
  • Enjoy it neat or on the rocks

The Nose The first wave, rich in dried fruit aromas such as prunes or dried figs, overcomes you. The aromas evolve to more dense notes of chocolate and black pepper, mellowed by cinnamon, clove and cardamom spices.

Palate Richly textured, rounded and pleasing, it manages to possess both power and softness at the same time, with a chocolatey hint and an all-encompassing overtone of fruitiness. Its tremendous length emphasizes its initial complexity.

Serve At once soft and powerful, it has an undeniably modern personality, which enables it to be appreciated either neat, on the rocks or even cut with a splash of water.

Lowest I've ever seen on Amazon. Never going to be a bargain price but it's worth every penny.

    Voted hot.

Very nice brandy, but I'll never drink it again as their customer care is one of the worst!

This is a good price considering that this sells for £193/litre even in Heathrow duty free shop.
Cognac price has gone through the roof during the past 7 years with big price jumps owing to Brexit, Covid and increased China demand.
Father’s Day present for me sorted. Voted hot. (edited)
