TASTING NOTES.
Nose: Big, full, rich fruitcake aroma. Intense sherry sweetness, developing into dried fruit/raisin/ Christmas cake notes.
Palate: Soft, silky texture with a nutty character.
Finish: A lingering sweetness. Remarkable balance between the power from sherry-seasoned casks and the smoothness of the spirit

    Here's your revised text:

An excellent utility Irish whiskey expression to have in your drinks cabinet. Personally, I believe this whiskey represents great value at this price point. If you haven’t tried it, now is a good time to do so given its price.

Everything is subjective and personal but I wasn't a fan of this one 😞

Agreed, Peter. Everything is subjective to personal tastes. This whiskey 🥃 is available in every bar in Northern Ireland; hence, I call it a utility whiskey. You can drink it for a very decent bar price, and you don’t have to mix your whiskies as you move from bar to bar.

Is it the first Bushmills you reach for in your drinks cupboard? Of course not. You would be starting with Bushmills 10 or better when drinking at home with friends.

As I mentioned, at that price point, it’s an excellent expression with good spirit. Redbreast 12, Powers John Lane, or Yellow Spot would be my recommendations if you want a superior product, but they all come at a much higher price point, which can be off-putting for some.
