About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
Nice, cheap break. Works out about £3 a person a night. Silver apartments are £62 if you'd prefer that.
Located in the serene seaside town of Minehead, our resort is nestled in the beautiful hilly moors of Exmoor in Somerset, neighbouring a gorgeous golden sandy beach.
As the largest of our three resorts, Minehead is the ideal location for families wanting to embrace everything that's brilliant about the Great British seaside (including the unpredictable weather!) with acres of resort to roam and nearly one mile of beach on our doorstep.
Home to our iconic chalets and seafront apartments, you'll find everything you need to make your break special at Minehead. There are delicious restaurants, a vintage fairground, the Skyline Pavilion where you'll find our entertainment, plus a charming Chapel in our grounds, too!
If you fancy doing a little exploring outside of our resort, Minehead has so much to offer. In proximity to Exmoor National Park, you'll find nature trails and walking paths with lovely views. Dunster Castle is nearby, with the West Somerset Railway open for a nostalgic trip on the steam train.
For a place to stay at the end of the day, these great-value rooms are ideal for those wanting a base with a simple interior, complete with beds and a bath.
Hope it helps someone

sorted byI would describe us as a 'normal' UK family. We own our house with a mortgage. We don't have a criminal record. We enjoy caravan holidays. We shop at Tesco. We drive a 10 year old car. I have a Casio watch. We don't drink to excess or smoke.
We went last year and had a similar deal.
We stayed ona comfort apartment.
The quality of the apartment was OK. It was very basic but overall quite clean.
There was loads to do for the kids.
The problem is that Butlins does attract a minority, but a loud and noticeable minority, clientele who are complete knuckle dragging chavs.
They walk around with grey tracksuits hanging off their arse, greasy hair puffing cigarettes screaming and shouting at all hours.
Spoils it for normal families really who just want a cheap break. (edited)
A lot to do in terms of facilities, entertainment the rooms are very basic but Minehead is lovely and has some great tea rooms and pubs/restaurants.
We went for a week last year and would go back.
On the rare occasion over the years of visiting Butlins we have had problems yet we've been to customer services and had issues sorted or they'd sort out another chalet or refunds, but the majority of the time our visits have been fine.

all it takes is a little bit of planning. generally did this the night before. but a big note that you need to book your places for the shows way in advance but you can cancel them at any time.
it was very rare i had to touch any money though the week. but i was taking my own drinks into the night life (obviously hidden away).
The downside was the queues for the shows. just because you have booked your place does not mean you will get a seat when you get in. the one studio (studio 36 i think) was huge so you do get a seat but it wont be close to the stage.
personally i would go again with the kids and i would do the food court again. the food is fine. the coffee sucks. the juice is ok. the cakes where amazing.
