    Great price, but...

Steel frame so probably very heavy - weight not stated. Says 16-18kg in Q&A and that's a lot!
"Features -‎ Basket". No it doesn't.

Probably better than anything else new at this price though, once it's PROPERLY assembled.

As with all boxed bikes, if you don't know your way around basic bike mechanics budget on another £30+ for a bike shop to build and check it over. So much unhappiness when people haven't a clue how to set up. At least it's from Amazon so some chance of support if you mess it up? (edited)

yeah, 16 - 18kg will weigh a ton. my old bike weighed 14.5kg and that is really heavy so i think this bike will be hard work to cycle to be honest.

    4'8" to 5'6" I assume for the 16" frame.

Perfectly good for the price, looks like alloy rims. (edited)

Frame size should be spot on I'd say. You definitely want the one with the 28"wheels, which this is.

Seems a steal for the price. Possible cost saving in the drive train but could always be replaced cheaply in a year or so

You can get a decent used bike for this price. This is just super heavy junk I'm afraid

    Agreed

Compatible with flowery summer dresses, not compatible with Lycra! Needs a basket to complete the look.

A few years ago this might have been advertised as a women’s bike

Far too heavy, would be better buying a 2nd hand bike.

    Cheap

A bike pannier and a set of mudguard would easily cost more than this bike. Voted hot!
    Klaudiuvs_'s avatar
Why would you need to buy mudguards for it? It comes with its own mudguards :/
  14. Pokora's avatar
Don't forget to add 1 or 2 cans of spray paint to the basket.

Good deal. At this price point, you can use the bike for a few years and you won't lose much £ in depreciation if you sell it in the future ,

This comes under my sunglasses search?
    Bedrocks's avatar
You need sunglasses to look at it so make sense right??

i remember schwinn in the 70's great bicycles and well made, had a 10 speed and loved it.

They still make bikes with steel frames?
  25. P0PEYE's avatar
Great price, for just short trips around my flat town the weight wouldn't be an issue for me.

received today. Any good tutorials on how to assemble properly? does the rubber/plastic bit on the handlebar fork need to be removed before it will fit into the frame?

looking for a YouTube video ideally 😬 (edited)

    edit:
similar ish bike i can see that yes the plastic protector does need to be removed:
