How does it compare with the Costco rolls?
    rizvig81's avatar
Costco rolls were much better in quality and last long ,same quality were selling euro car parts ,I was regularly buying for work shop for £12 now price shoots at costco £22.99 almost double the price.

Are these ones better than these ones? I'd rather pay the £2 more if they are better quality. A big lot i got for free are nearly finished. ebay.co.uk/itm…OPY

I purchased this one gonna give a try. It shows same 400 sheets so should be ok. Thanks

You need to go on the weight. A decent catering roll should be around 500g. Some of the stuff they sell is nothing more than loosely rolled toilet paper. Makro do both types. Pick a pack up in each hand and see the difference. Obviously price is different but you get what you pay for.

    160mm seems small
    deleted2936900's avatar
    Well it's nearly 50% bigger than 110mm

These ones are 160mm and the ebay ones are 110mm I think

I find it very difficult to tell from an advert which one of these being sold is the better very tightly wound blue paper roll. Once I found the right one I stick with them as i tried other ebayers to get deleivered the inferior rolls. These are the the best - in my opinion. they last really long

I cannot seem to find anyone else selling the same ones. The others may be cheaper, but you use more of the others and the quality is crap

Are the ones being advertised here as a good offer the same ones? (edited)

    reviews look bad.

Think a lot of shop suppliers switched to this soft tissue paper stuff. I think its a good idea to go by the weight.

A word of warning; the last cheap blue rolls I bought from eBay were dire - when wet they disintegrated and stained everything blue. Normal use in a garage/workshop.

Have since moved over to Tork M2. Double the price but you get what you pay for in my opinion (edited)

Were they thinner rolls and of a darker shade of blue? Had a few recently that stained my bench and gloved hands while working with solvents, never happened with any other blue roll.

400 plus sheets per roll - willing to give it a try. I can use it for kitchen roll in the utility room if not good enough for the kitchen

So I bought a blue roll from Euro Car Parts today. I was using Evapo-rust remover on one of those ammunition boxes on a HDUK deal that went hot recently. It said to use highly quality smooth paper tissue not textured so figured kitchen roll wouldn't do. Couldn't believe what a rip off ECP is. £7.29 for a single roll that's about half of a kitchen roll. It's rubbish quality too. I was fuming earlier on.

Could do with buying a deal like this as we go through so much kitchen roll and Regina Blitz isn't cheap.

I agree ECP’s pricing is insane at the moment. Charging almost double what other retailers are for car batteries.

We buy Tork blue roll from Amazon which is great. It’s £40 for two rolls but lasts around 4-5 months with daily use and doesn’t leave residue bits everywhere. Usually use several sheets per day too. Seems never ending
