I'm sick of the constant Gatwick, Stansted, Luton deals when a lot of us HUKD members live up north as well.

Therefore, here is my second Manchester deal

Fancy Zadar in Croatia?

This deal is 8-12 August 2023 so in the heat of summer.

Just came back from there last week. Booked a fab 1 bedroom apartment on booking.com for £535 for the week. There aren't many hotels. Buses were easy from the airport into Zadar and not too expensive. I would highly recommend Zadar.

Flight back is far too early. Shame.

Croatia joined tge Euro this year and prices have rocketed.
Look at Krka falls and Plitvice lakes - 40 euros a head.

Tell me about it, we had planned to go to both until I saw the entry price so didn't go to either. I didn't think the transport, food or drink were too expensive though.

Some decent deals can be had if you Airbnb it. I saw some rooms for around £72 a night at quick glance. It's August so is peak season for Croatia. It's much cheaper if you avoid school holidays

Stayed in the old town of Zadar last year. Beautiful place.

Zadar is lovely, stayed there 2 weeks during Covid. I'd definitely go back sometime.
There is an insane taxi problem there, Uber doesn't work. You'll end up walking everywhere, keep that in mind if you are less mobile. (edited)
