Actually used this deal today at Rother Valley with my wife and our 6 and 5 year old grandkids. Absolutely brilliant deal enjoyed by us all! There was hardly anyone there and no queues for the rides. Lots for the grandkids to do. Certainly not a park for older children though.
    Incredible value for £10 each!
    Will definitely be returning. (edited)

    Fantastic price.
Are there any noticeable differences between all of their parks. I've only ever been to the one in Warrington I think. (edited)
    sidhoooooo's avatar
We've been to all of them,
rothervalley being the newest(which i think had a petting zoo), they are all fairly similar, however each have different rides,
    matlock bath is very hilly
Overall most of the theme parks are a little tired looking however kids will not notice.,of you have children under the age of 13, i would highly recommend
Time it right, avoid bank holidays/ weekend, and plan your journey at any of the parks, you can easily to 10+, rides
Queues have always been generally short (edited)

still waiting for the voucher print email.... every time I bought something like this made me nervous as so scared to click or type something wrong and lost the money...
    lukeDduke's avatar
So I managed to work it out. Once you order the voucher you will receive a email with TP code.

Once you redeem that code if you go back to the email you goT your TP code and click "get voucher" this will take you to the living social website.

At the top it should say "my vouchers" click that, an you will see your Gulivers park voucher.

Finally click "get voucher" again on the website and you will get the Pdf of the voucher with the barcode.

Long winded but I feel better now

Worth travelling up from London for this?
    sheffield788's avatar

You've got Milton Keynes much closer to London, I'm sure you'll find some deals for it at some point. Personally, I believe it is not worth travelling so far away.

Took my daughter a couple of years ago to the Rother Valley one when she was 8. I would say that she was probably approaching the upper age limit as the rides are much more suited to young children. I think any kid older than that would be a bit bored.

Park was lovely and clean and the queues for rides were fairly minimal even in peak season.
    sadielady85's avatar
It is still the same, great for little ones, but like yours my older children were bored by age 8. ~Such a good deal for the younger children though.

Same offer on Wowcher, use code EXTRA10. Some people are saying they're having problems with Living Social. I've never had a problem with Wowcher, good customer service, although the websites look like clones, so probably they're sister companies.

I've just purchased this at Wowcher and redeemed it at checkout, didn't have to wait for any emails. (edited)
  14. Rambojazdude's avatar
Did anyone else's come to £45 at checkout?
    waseem3007's avatar
Yes mine as they charge £4.99 for some mind of subscription
  15. paul.raynes's avatar
Haven't been to the Rother Valley one, but we've taken our kids to all the others and we absolutely loved them. I grew up near Matlock Bath so I have fond memories as a kid, but be warned they still have some rides that I went on 30 years ago!

The Matlock Bath one is right on the edge of the town, and there's a fair bit to explore there. River, amusements, restaurants, museums etc. It's also a comfortable walk from the railway station, if that helps any one out. Although free parking at Gulliver's if you're driving. The hills are a killer, but they do have a chairlift and moving walkway so you can start at the top and work your way down. Definitely wouldn't fancy it with a pushchair or wheelchair though.
  16. Rambojazdude's avatar
Just be careful when placing your order. They sneaked in a £5 a year VIP membership. I rushed my checkout.
    waseem3007's avatar
Same happened to me, is there anyway to cancel this?
  17. BarnSt0rmer's avatar
"Tickets must be booked at least 48 hours in advance". Darn, that's a shame. I'm on holiday about about 30 minutes from the Matlock Bath one and thought it might be good for today. I guess we can wait and go in a few days. We've never been to one of their parks but I've heard good things about them. Nice deal, thanks for posting.

    Not getting answer either

This is the response from gullivers world themselves:

    Good afternoon,

You don’t received anything from ourselves. As you have booked through a third party company, the only confirmation you get is the TP code.

You just turn up on the day with that code.

Just check the day of your visit to make sure we accept your voucher on that day as there is selected dates that we don’t.
    laura.marriott's avatar
That’s strange because we selected the day we wanted, so I’d hope they can do that day 🤦🏻‍♀️

it’s a bit off putting that there’s no voucher to print or email confirmation.

I cannot recommend the Warrington one at all. Hideously filthy, only accepted cash when we were there, but the cashpoint was out of order. The food was absolutely horrible, greasy and dirty as was the park itself - especially the loos. I was so glad to leave and that was when the tickets were £9!
    sheffield788's avatar
    Author
Isn't it the same with every single theme park in the UK? Every time I go with my kids, I can't wait to get out. Overpriced, chaos, dirty, poor choice of food, etc. On top of my negative list is LEGO park. 5 rides in 8 hours...
I have to say that the best experience, if we can call it this way, was at Gulliver's Rother Valley. Perhaps because it is new and not far away from us, so not much hassle. (edited)

Ordered and booked. Thanks. Great deal for school hols !
  22. paul.taylor's avatar
We went to get Rother Valley one yesterday, just showed the voucher from LS, scanned the barcode and got it no probs. Was our first visit there, the kids had a great time (8 and 5). Only 1 queue was 40 mins, the rest were about 10mins. Great little theme park.
    nomez's avatar
Was it on the day you booked?

Non transferable sounds strange. I can't see them asking you for ID in order to allow you in the park. (edited)

After looking up online, the one in Matlock Bath seems to be a much better one comparing to the Yorkshire one. Anyone?
    sheffield788's avatar
    Author
That's old, Rother Valley is new. That one is quite hilly, Rother Valley is flat. I can't say which one is better, I've only tried Rother Valley. I don't like such places, but from all the theme parks I visited in the UK, Gulliver's Rother Valley was the one I tolerated the most.
  27. CaptainRogers's avatar
Do I presume rightly, that all the rides are included in the price? We've never been before, so presume that it's a child's version of Alton Towers & Drayton Manor?
    Abz007's avatar
    Yes u are correct.

Once you redeem that code if you go back to the email you goT your TP code and click "get voucher" this will take you to the living social website.

Will the voucher not work at another location? I've got a Warrington one, but want to go to a different location.
    ministrymason's avatar
    How did you buy Warrington?
  35. paul.taylor's avatar
So you don't need to book 48 hours in advance after all? Just rock up on the day and hope they accept the TP code? Living life on the edge, nice!
    Paid-in-full's avatar
    Seems that way
  36. morpheus's avatar
Sorry just to clarify, I have to decide the date I want to go in advance and then I'm tied to that date?
    paul.taylor's avatar
Hard to tell. I've bought one but all they send you is the TP code. Unless that is linked to the date you selected then you should be able to go most days within the time period
