Should think they'll be getting more in stock, seeing how the deal is supposed to be running until the 14rh August. Don't think there's any mention as to if the offer expires before said date based on stock levels, or lack there of? (edited)

don't waste your time with online ordering this, they amend and charge you £15 instead, had to waste my time refusing and cancelling my order for this on prinicapal of charging me more than my order without my consent

Just happened to me. I’m calling Sainsbury’s customer care now.

So has anyone actually managed to physically collect a bottle having paid £10 without having to jump through hoops/pay £4/phone c.s. to get a voucher?

Otherwise it's a lot of heat for a non deal deal

just received my order of 3 bottles but they have taken £15 extra from my bank without me realising.

They can say what they like about price error etc but Ill be calling them first thing to kick off about this.

Now the worse than useless government are putting tax up again, we can look forward to being even poorer. I wonder if these deals are exempt from tax? So in future we'll see everything like £30 for Vodka but it's on sale for £15 24/7?

Order it for collection at the Houses of Parliament and they waive the duty.

Charged me £15 a bottle when the receipt came through. Rang up and they’ve told me it’s an error on the website and they won’t sell it to me for £10 a bottle.

Just checked through the Other Half's Sainsburys Account. It seems it Should be £14) as they add a £4 Charge when Collecting on Baskets under £25!!) So, not really much of a deal Shouldn't be £15 though, not as that is any real consolation. IUnless, of course you purchased £25 worth of stuff). End of the day, it's nothing to do with an error in price on the website, (edited)

Strange, no mention on the Website of it being an "Online Only" offer. Could try purchasing it online and use the Click & Collect option as there's no minimum order requirement needed. Daresay it's not "Free" to Click & Collect? But surely it won't cost anywhere near £5 to Collect it. (edited)

Never tried this, as a spiced rum lover how does this compare/taste?

My AI Bot informs me of the following:

    • Bright hints of tropical fruit and vanilla
    • A touch of anise
    • Vibrant and full of character
    • Sweet creamy taste
    • Aromas of vanilla on the nose
    • Lush and refreshing on the palate
    • Flavors of apple, burnt orange, ginger, cloves, and creamy vanilla

These descriptions highlight the tropical fruit notes, creamy sweetness, and aromatic qualities of Dead Man's Fingers White Rum. It is often enjoyed in cocktails such as Daiquiris and Mojitos, and can also be mixed with cola or juice for a simple and refreshing drink.

How accurate the above is, I have no idea No doubt someone can clarify Personally, only ever tried the Dead Man's Fingers Lime Rum, 70cl (edited)

Nice. Sainsbury's recently has good offers for spirits. Yesterday I found toffee vodka 70cl for only £9.50.

Same happened to me this morning, got my receipt ahead of delivery later and they'd charged me £15 per bottle. I rang CS but got the same old flannel about system error yesterday so I kindly pointed out that if it happened yesterday why then is it still showing on their website at £10 per bottle?

    "Errr....we'll get it sorted....."

I think they could be relying on this piece (from their T's & C;s section):

"2.5 Payment will be taken on the day of delivery or collection to cover the cost of the goods and the delivery or collection charge. Goods will be charged at the in-store selling price prevailing that day. Methods of payment are described in 'Prices and Payment' within the 'help' section of this Website."

"Goods will be charged at the in-store selling price"

That said (and if you're happy to give CS a ring, and hope to get through to the same bumbling CSA's then I'd try winging the difference in Vouchers out of them, it appears to have worked for those that have complained lol (edited)

Same for me as others charged £15 a bottle on my receipt before delivery. Contacted cs and I was offered a refund by voucher after they checked the price on their systems but I told them I wanted a refund back to payment method which was agreed and will go back on my account in 3 - 5 working days. I have 6 bottles coming as I bought them for presents.
Great result for me with living in Wales. Thanks op for posting

Same for me as well. Ordered 3 yesterday for collection today. Charged £15/bottle. Was on phone for about 40 minutes before they agreed to offer a refund. Initially offered me a store voucher, but I insited for refund back to original payment card. Just received email from Sainsburys confirming the refund has been processed.

How on earth is it still showing on the website at £10
They've known about this since Monday fgs!

Got charged £15. Just called them and they refused to refund me. Absolutely disgusting service.

They also said that they are short staffed because some people were killed in South Africa? Wtf?

I have been on the phone for over an hour trying to get this offer. Placed an order for click & collect, email stated if he charged £30 with no cost for picking up. When they tried to charge me they were taking £45, so offer is actually for £15 a bottle. They’ve made an error on the website. I was given a £15 voucher to apply to my order to honour it but Been spoken down to by management in store I was picking up from and payments team. Not worth the hassle.

After 3 phone calls to CS and 4 back to back email to CS, they informed that the refund team will call me to sort this out. They didn’t even offered me a voucher. Spent so much time and effort for this. Didn’t worth a penny of this non- deal.

This was a deal for those who complained early, and got FULLY Reimbursed in the form of Vouchers for the issue THEY CAUSED. To say this was a Non-Deal is stupid :). (edited)
