I have this, nice keyboard rubbish software that causes stuck keys until you delete and re add the keyboard in device manager.

Razer customer support is awful, and Razer quality control has been known to be questionable. Buy it at your own peril.

Razer support were excellent for me, keyboard died after 8 months, bought it for £50 on clearance from them directly, got given a £150 voucher to buy a like for like replacement on their site, as that was the price for a replacement of a similar model

How long should a keyboard last?
I bought one of these and used daily for about 2 years.

Its true the light isnt bright enough. Also if your room is bright, you still cant see the letters because they're dark letters on dark keys.

I stopped using it when the pressure needed to depress the keys started to change from key to key. Also it became that if you hit a key off centre then it doents move! - its never had food/drink spilled into it.

It was never a great keyboard, but when new, it was "ok".

I havent seen the issue of painted keys fading.

...oh and if you plug it into a windows 10 PC then it tries to auto install software.

    Hope this helps.

A budget Dell or Lenovo lasts longer, Razer build sucks. You're simply paying for their marketing, but for £15 with RGB isn't too bad.

No local stock for me, also this is a membrane keyboard, so not really a "gaming" keyboard

    Yep will be great

This keyboard is a good deal only if you are able to get it as part of razer essential gaming bundle. When it's £50 or less for mouse, keyboard, mouse mat and headphones...

Actual switches or just membrane hybrid ones ?

    Membrane.

Don’t buy these. The keys are painted on and fade away after a year or two. The guarantee is useless.

Got one of these to replace another cheap Amazon rgb no name keyboard that was ghosting like crazy.

Had no such problems with this one. Only annoyance is the keys aren’t particularly bright when lit up.

Otherwise well worth £15. Had mine about 6 months
